The original, and true, version of the tale in which out hero Joe fell asleep after drinking an enormous amount of cider and had to be given the kiss of life by the only medically trained dwarf (Prince Charming) was disgustingly distorted. Jo was so shamed he became a trollslayer.

For some reason Sleazy and his brother were not in the book.... they have felt hard done by about that.

Pervy was, like his bro, cut from the original draft of their tale. Pervy is most upset that his cousins got into Lord of the Rings and he couldn't even get into a fairy tale.

Doc was called something that couldn't be repeated even in a Grimm fairy tale. He preferred the name they gave him and stuck with it.
