Count von Count (born October 9, 1,830,653 BC [1,832,652 years old according to Sesame Street Unpaved]
The Count has a compulsive love of counting (arithmomania); he will count anything and everything, regardless of size, amount, or how much annoyance he is causing the other Muppets.
Following a counting session, the Count will laugh maniacally, "Von! AH! AH! AH! Two! AH! AH! AH! " as thunder roars overhead and lightning flashs.

The Count bears a noticeable resemblance to Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula, including a similar accent and oversized, pointed eye-teeth, but it would appear that he is different from other vampires. For example, most vampires wither in direct sunlight; the Count does not and in fact enjoys being outside, plus he doesn't suck blood, doesn't sleep in a coffin, usually sleeps at night, and never changes into a bat. In some ways, he's just like a regular human.

The Count lives in an old, cobweb-infested castle which he shares with many bats. Sometimes he counts them. Some of the pet bats are named, including Grisha, Misha, Sasha, and Tattiana. He has a cat, Fatatatita, as well.

The Amazing Mumford is a character on the children's TV show Sesame Street. He has been performed by Jerry Nelson since 1970. He is a very talented magician, but his spells never do what they are supposed to do. It is not clear whether this failure is due perhaps to a lack of efficacy on the part of his standard incantation: "A la peanut butter sandwiches!"

Cowboy with a memory problem, he rode in the saddle with his darling, Clementine. Both characters were "retired" in 1992, when Richard Hunt died.

A famous skit involved him and other Muppets singing "Oklahoma" for a movie scene; Forgetful used the wrong vowel to begin the song, a different one each take. Incidentally, when he finally does get it right, the cast breaks for lunch.

Harvey Kneeslapper was a blonde-haired and wild-eyed Muppet in a blue sweater who always loved jokes and puns. He slapped letters and numbers on any of the Anything Muppet's chests. Harvey disappeared from Sesame Street, because of mixed public response to the character, and his laughing was too hard on Muppeteer Frank Oz's throat.

was a character on Sesame Street who was dubbed "America's Favorite Game Show Host." This nattily attired character is easily excitable and is perpetually shouting, and resembles Canadian/U.S. quizmaster Jim Perry (of Card Sharks fame).
Apparently Guy Smiley is not his real name - in one Sesame Street skit, he stated: "Well, my name's Guy Smiley, and they call me that because I changed it from Bernie Liederkrantz!"

Herry Monster is a big, unibrowed, furry light-blue monster who doesn't know his own strength. His voice is a parody of Jimmy Durante's. In books he is always illustrated as wearing pants with vertical stripes. Herry appeared on the show from 1970 to 2003; in 2004 he appeared in only the debut episode for Season 35 (episode 4057). Herry Monster's birthday is August 31. His best friend is Grover.

He is covered with blue fur, has big black eyebrows, and a long purple nose.

Oscar has a green body (during the 1969–1970 season, however, he was orange), has no nose, and lives in a garbage can. His favorite thing in life is trash; evidence for this is the song "I Love Trash". He's known as "The Grouch" because of his typically grouchy moods, which tend to be on the whiney side, although he can also be very clever, as well as being of the grouch species. Some say he is very smart.

Oscar can also become mobile with the help of his friend Bruno, the trashman, who carries Oscar around in his can. Bruno is a full-body costume which allows Oscar's puppeteer to manipulate Oscar while remaining hidden by the Bruno costume. Also, as seen in the Elmo's World episode 'Dance', the underside of his trash can is somewhat detachable, with Oscar's legs protruding from the bottom of his trash can. Other evidence of this can be seen in Christmas Eve on Sesame Street (1978), when Oscar is ice skating. For several seasons, Oscar was frequently shown with his friend and pet Slimey, an orange worm. On occasional episodes he has mentioned leaving Sesame Street to attend "the annual Grouch convention in Syracuse, New York".

Oscar is performed by Muppeteer Carroll Spinney. Spinney's other lead character is Big Bird. During the first season of Sesame Street, the street set was arranged such that Spinney, who is right-handed, was forced to operate Oscar's head with his left hand. A subsequent redesign of the set allowed Spinney to switch hands.

Oscar thinks that numbers are silly, according to the song "Knock Three Times".

Dirty Player
Frazzle is the only Muppet monster intended to be "scary", in the children's television series Sesame Street. During the late-1980s to early-1990s, his career was limited to that of a background extra, due to his intimidating appearance.

With the exception of one episode, Frazzle always talks in babyish monster sounds. This leaves his age in question, as he holds an unknown occupation that requires business travelling.

Frazzle debuted in season three of Sesame Street, 1971, in a Guy Smiley game show called Beat the Time. Frazzle led a band called The Frazzletones, backed up by Maurice Monster.

In a strange 1993 episode, Frazzle talked. Despite being a resident of the Sesame Street burough of New York City, he tries to get a room at The Furry Arms. However, the hoteliers refuse to book him a room, as he has a pet human with him. Frazzle protests, exclaiming "Well, it's just not fair! What am I supposed to do, leave little Pickles at home when I'm travelling on business? Come, Pickles, we'll go to another hotel!"

Frazzle was originally just the Tall Orange Anything Muppet, used in other segments of the show, essentially with a furry costume on, to turn the Anything Muppet into a monster. In 2001, Frazzle was finally built as an actual, proper Muppet monster.

He has had the hit Song "Frazzle" with his band the frazzletones. He has also appeared in the songs: "Fuzzy and Blue (and orange)", "The Loveable Monsters of Sesame Street", and "Be kind to your neighbourhood monsters".
