Unblockable
Val'kar is a psychopathic killer, known as "The Soulless" for the cold-hearted lack of conscience with which he dispatches his victims. Exiled for his crimes (and only granted a stay of execution due to lack of comprehensive proof of his guilt), he now plays BloodBowl to exalt in his violent nature.
Once a trusted adviser to an elven lord, Nek'bet manipulated him and his neighbor into a bloody conflict. After both sides had suffered thousands of casualties, Nek'bet's treachery was discovered during the truce talks.
It was decided that execution was too soft a punishment for the traitor, instead he was maimed, disfigured, and forced to live out the rest of his life in that condition in exile.

Executed a perfectly timed surgical blitz at the goal line, to preserve a tie against the Ogres. Only 3 other elves were on the pitch at the time, facing 6 Ogres and 3 Goblins.
Is'stari even makes his own teammates uncomfortable, despite their hardened backgrounds. With only a tenuous grasp of reality, Is'stari's psychotic delusions shift from one hour to the next making him wild and unpredictable. The only constant in his life appears to be his love for BloodBowl.
Del'thal was a dark elf maid of low birth when, during an encounter with a nobleman, she viciously scratched his face, costing him the use of one eye. In the proceeding trial she claimed he had attempted to rape her, while he denied any such allegation and demanded her death. The magistrate - despite having serious doubts about her claim - ruled that, as no proof could be found, she would be free of all culpability for the act if she would merely apologize to the lord.
She refused to apologize and has been in exile ever since.
Apat'ana was once a famous and talented Blitzer for a dark elven team. She was baned from BloodBowl for life when she disemboweled a referee - and his wife, 3 daughters, grandmother, son-in-law, and both of his dogs - after he ejected her from a match. However, it was discovered that she had returned to the sport illicitly after an incident involving the death or maiming of numerous fans and - more importantly - sponsors' representatives.
At the insistence of the sponsors, she was cursed so that she would be unable to ever play the game again, with runes branded into her skin to ensure that this could never take place. However, she seems to have found a way around the curse - and while she is no longer as skilled as she once was, nor able to play the Blitzer position, she is making yet another bloody comeback in the No-Block League.
Arrogant like all elves, vicious like few of them, Zend'tai once ripped the beating heart out of the chest of a serving woman who spilled 3 drops of wine on the sleeve of his shirt. The shirt was, after all, made of the finest spider-silk, and the incident completely ruined it.
Then again, that had more to do with it being drenched in the blood of Zend'tai's victim than with any wine that was involved.
Zend'tai is still arrogant, violent, and brutal. He revels in kicking opponents while they are down, mercilessly forcing them from the pitch with injuries. And he is indisputably the best-dressed elf on the team.
Update:
Zend'tai has rejoined the team after taking some time off to rehab his injury.
