Origionally JP Losman was to be a Quarterback directing the play, but as Marshawn Lynch developed earlier ball handling skills, Losman decided to become a Running back, leaning towards being a Full Back so as to concentrate on special blocks that took out the toughest or most threatening opponents.
So far he has been a reliable performer and is an everpresent in the side.
