Captained the Liberators since Day One, the armband was taken off him after the Spuds Bowl 23 final defeat. His record reads: two defeats in the Spuds Bowl final, and two defeats in Wiggum finals.

During Spuds Bowl 24, he was used as a winger and grabbed a few tds, along with an increase of agility.

Star player of the Liberators, since the birth to their rise to Spuds Bowl level, Ferdinando has been the ass-kicking, touch-down scoring beating cock, er, i mean heart, of the team.

During Spuds Bowl 17 - in which he bragged he would prove himself the best dwarf runner in the league (a challenge for Farrik) - he became injured when playing the Liberators' nemesis, the Stinking Skinks. He missed the remainder of the tournament, and now limps with 5mv.

During Spuds Bowl 23 Gorges pushed his team all the way to their second Spuds final: he scored an all important equaliser in the final, but was unable to help the Liberators to victory in the replay against the Norks. In the fallout of the competition (in which he took his spps tally to all-time third spot), he became the captain of the Liberators, taking the armband from the disgraced Captain Chard.

During Spuds Bowl 24 he became the 3rd player (after Miggi and Farrik) to beat the 150 spp barrier! In the same campaign, he captained the team to glory, scoring the winner in the replay of the final.

In the shadow of Gorges, Paalm's moment of glory occured during the replayed Spuds Bowl 24 final when against the odds he picked up the ball, ran down the field, and passed successfully to a waiting dragon slayer who went on to score. It was the turning point of the game.
