Slorg's Critters
Nagi IV probably won't live much longer.
Nagi IV is the fourth member of the Nagi clan to become quarterback for Slorg's Critters. The original Nagi was a star player, easily the best player on the team, before his face was ripped off by an Ogre during a game.
Then came Nagi II, who lasted one game before being killed by an elf.
Then came Nagi III, who lasted two games before being throttled by a mummy.
Yes, the position of QB on this team is cursed, and Nagi IV knows it. He has already written out his will and bought a casket.
Luni is the fastest player.
He's fast, and he knows it. With the most receiving yards on the team, and being tied for most scores, Luni is fast becoming a star.
Seeing Huri get seriously injured, however, has made him very wary of his own health.
He therefore avoids blocks if at all possible, for better or for worse.
Yuri was a backup player.
Yuri was brought in when a Gutter Runner was killed, but was only a temporary replacement until a new Gutter Runner could be brought in. He has played often for being a backup, and finally had a breakout game against Keebler's Cookie-Munchers.
He is now a regular starter.
Guri is a hard worker.
Guri works hard, but just can't stay healthy. He is fast, but small and brittle. He has spent more time off the field than on it, but the times he's been on the field, he has produced.
Neb is the team's running back.
His official title is lineman, but Neb is a running back if this team has ever had one. He makes his blocks, but he also loves to get the ball and run with it. He doesn't have the best speed on the team, but that doesn't kill his desire to have the ball and try to score. He has yet to score any points, but he won't keep trying until he does.
Jib is an underrated player.
He is always blocking. Always.
The reason Jib hasn't been much recognized is that none of his blocks have been very crucial to the game's outcome.
Nonetheless, he continues to block with the best of them, and it's only a matter of time before he makes a key block and gets the recognition he deserves.
Joe is a star lineman.
Like Eck, Joe would like to see this team win a few games, and is doing his part to try to make it happen. The only difference is he hasn't decided to play dirty and foul...yet. He has, however, made many key blocks and catches on his way to becoming a star.
Guf is a standard lineman.
He is actually not much into blocking, but would rather just keep himself alive any way he can.
He has discovered that getting knocked out will keep him out of the game for long periods of time, lessening the chance that he'll die.
So far, this strategy has worked, but it's only a matter of time before one of those early KO hits becomes a bit more serious...
Eck is beginning to separate himself from the rest of the pack.
Not satisfied with the work of a simple lineman, Eck decided to catch Coach Slorg's eye with a well-timed foul on an opposing player during a critical play. Coach was impressed and decided to call his number occasionally for pass completions, which Eck has handled admirably.
A sturdy player, Eck has evaded serious injury and has come through when needed.
Hul is a blue collar player.
His stats aren't flashy, but he does his job and doesn't complain. He has managed to avoid any serious injuries, and you can't ask much more than that out of a Skaven Lineman.
Runi is the first of the Replacements.
His predecessor was killed in the opening game of the inaugural season for the Critters. Unfortunately, Runi has not had much of a chance to play due to numerous injuries. Despite the lack of playing time, Coach Slorg is apparently happy with Runi so far.
When asked if Runi was better than his predecessor, Coach Slorg replied:
"Well, he's still alive isn't he?"
