Team Captain and avid stone club fisherman Spitfire is the leader of the Yak's saurus division. His stint studying with Count Mortilort has done him well thus far, although he would prefer to focus on a defensive game. This view is not shared as a whole by the others. When the ball is kicked to them it often occurs to Spitfire that he should carry the ball to see that it is done right. It has been pointed out by Defiant, head of the skink division, that he has no business touching the ball, let alone carrying it down the pitch.

Season 1: Drama Lama

Game 1: Scored 2 Touchdowns in season's first game against Sorri's Necros.

Game 3: After a tough match against the elves, Spitfire uses their playbook to learn the coveted "Blodge". He plans to pass this on to any Saurus willing to listen on the Fighting Yaks. This was also the game in which he scored his third touchdown. The Count would be proud.

Season 2: Drama Lama

Game 3: Won MVP again!

Game 4: Spitfire earns his Third MVP against the Blue Collared Bulk. His skills being the only thing to hold against the two ton opponents.

Season 3, Game 2
After watching goblins carefully, has determined the next skill for his crew will be tackling all nimble creatures.

Season 3, Game 3
Killed, Lilith, who was promptly apo'd in a match against the Femmes Fatales. Spitfire also earned another MVP for this display making him far and away the player to win the most MVP's on the team.

Intangible comes from the old team the Lustrian Heroes. He played in the sticks for years until the forming of the Fighting Yaks, which was incidently the owners last meal whilst thinking up a team to skirmish his favorite Orc Sophisticate.

After spending two years training with the "Fine Gents" of the Sophisticate and developing a nasty habit for cheap brandy and cigars (and not the fine ones they should pursue - pip pip), Intangible got his chance as a starting player.

Season 1, Game 5:
Intangible has learned to properly block. The Sophisticate sponsors would be happy indeed.

Season 2, Game 6:
The wolf Max of Sorri's Necros was killed attempting to block Intangible.

Operating completely under telepath control from a local slann, Wullf has no idea he is playing Blood Bowl at all. He awakens at time, often in the middle of a commercial, interview, or fan greet, terribly confused why he is no longer serving roasted bird legs at the Lustrian Faire.

Season 3, Game 3: SI'd Clytemnestra in a game against the Femmes Fatales.

Another excitable prospect, Corsair remains as of yet another Saurus waiting to prove himself.

Season 1: Drama Lama League

Game 2: Ended up on the wrong end of a flying car against the Blue Collar Bulk, and missed a game.

Game 5: Still voted "Least Likely to be Recognized by a Fan" on the Fighting Yaks. Spitfire is not amused.

Mighty Blow
As a former Temple Guard Hellcat is adept at combat. In fact he prefers it to Blood Bowl. With a recent outbreak of peace even a Saurus has to make a living.

By game 5 of season 1 he is the second Saurus with the block skill touted by Team Captain Spitfire.

Season 2, Game 6
Injured a wight from Sorri's Necros, which promptly regenerated.

Season 3, Game 1
Killed the Dark Age Outlaw Voltear, and seriously injured Ruth.

Season 3, Game 2
Seriously injured Frank the Mason, who was promptly saved by an alert apothecary in a game against Blue Collared Bulk. Seems more apt to keep this up after figuring out mighty blow.

Season 3, Game 5
Took Snarg Ripsnort out for another game during the chaos of Game 5 (Fumbbl Day).

Season 2, Game 5
Win MVP against the Dark Age Outlaws!

Season 2, Game 6
Scored a touchdown after catching a wild ball kicked up from a collision of zombies and the Saurus Zero.

At the end season 3 the position of team captain, skink division, falls to Dauntless, who served as the number two for Defiant for three seasons. The fans wish him well, and a happy retirement to his mentor Defiant.

One of the few original skinks left this fine chap is often the biggest risk taker in the start of the new league. He was brought in from the army after his record failed to give them a reason to keep him around. He is rumored to be the only dirty player in the group, and will do about anything during the game for fan attention.

Season 2, Game 1
After a tough game in which Tempest not only shoved the werewolf into the crowd against 14 Undead and 2 Werewolves, he was injured himself and missed the next game. He also learned to run faster.

Game 3
Scored a touchdown against the Blue Sky Bombers.

Game 5
Managed 2 touchdowns against the Dark Age Outlaws.

Game 7
Drove in the only touchdown of the game against the Femme Fatales.

New to the Fighting Yaks for Season 3 of the DLL is Beaufighter. While untested and unproved so far, the Division Leader Defiant sees an aspiring athlete. The fans are cautiously optimistic.

Season 3, Game 1
Earned MVP and scored the only touchdown in debut game against the Dark Age Outlaws.

From deep in the jungles of Lustria comes <b>El Terrible</b>!<br>
Wearing his top hat, and when it isn't missing between games, the <i>Cape de El Terrible</i>, he strikes from behind the line of the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&team_id=390977">Fighting Yaks</a> When he can remember he is <b>El Terrible</b><br>
Fans Unite! Unite for <b>El Terrible</b>!<br>

There was a whisper on the wind. That whisper was <b>El Terrible</b>.<br>
- -<br>
A man came to see the monk on a cold and brisk morning. The wind blew out of the south, and the monk held his cloak tight about him watching the fire. They paused, only nodding knowingly when the wind at least had waned.<br>
"Is it true"<br>
The monk acknowledged quietly and drew his cloak close.<br>

For days the caravan wound around the pass of the mountain. There was something in the air that chilled the world, and spooked the mules. The drivers were nervous. The halfling cook stambered about, doing his normal day-to-day in the last wagon. It would be soon they knew.<br>
The halfling held his head low over the small cage. He looked out the back to the greying sky. With a calm sigh he released twelve pigeons and returned to work.<br>
And that sigh, was <b>El Terrible</b>.<br>

In September of 1936 the Wood River Express train departed from Vogt Station in Salt Lake City, Utah bound for Red Flats, Nevada on what was known as the Salt Line. 214 souls were aboard. The train was spotted at 11:34 PM near the border with Nevada disappearing into a particularly dense fog bank. It was never seen again. No wreckage was found and there was no trace that the train had ever been there. In 1998 a freight train traveling along the B & O freight line near where the disused Salt Line had been overgrown with desert weeds came across a strange sight. Sitting parallel to the freight line, poised where tracks had once run, was the pristine length of the Wood River Express.<br>
The baffled crew of the freight train stopped to inspect their unusual find. Only one person was aboard the train: the conductor. He was a smiling great lizard who offered no answer or explanation other than his name. That name was <b>El Terrible</b>. <br>

A goblin stood over the quiet of the morning. The rocks before him cool to his touch, and yet the air was warm. There was a stillness in the air, and that stillness is <b>El Terrible</b><br>

<b>El Terrible</b> is laughing at his own joke and it's about you.<br>

<br>At the end of all time and space, when the lightless inexorable whirl of the dragon consumes the last scraps of our reality, when the true dark of nothing is the only companion to that monstrous gravitational maw, <b>El Terrible</b> will stand on emptiness and howl at the void.

- -<br>
That fire that lights the lantern inside <b>El Terrible</b>'s mind will surge and flare, and in one brief instant, when all is truly lost and things are nevermore, <b>El Terrible</b> will roar with fury and the entire Universe will be remade anew. The cycle begins again. Ten billion upon ten billion stars are thrown out of the unclenched fist of eternity.

- -<br>
Your team owes <b>El Terrible</b> more money than they can ever hope to repay, but he'll take clean organs. With interest. <br>
- -<br><br>
<b>El Terrible</b> voted for the new league commissioner. The <i>other</I> new league commissioner.

The Iroquois believe that before man walked the earth there was a great tribe of sky people who lived without worry or pain on a floating island. One day Sky Woman became pregnant with twins and was pushed by her murderous husband from their happy island home. Instead of plummeting to her death she was caught by birds and carried to safety. There was no land for her so they sprinkled earth on the back of a turtle and placed Sky Woman there.
<br>Sky Woman gave birth to two healthy boys. She named her first son Sapling and he made all that is good and right in the world. He made the trees green and heavy with fruit. He made the waters cool and potable and he filled them up with a bounty of fish. Sky Woman's other son represented all that was dark in the world. He made the rivers flow away and turned the fruit to rot. He salted the earth where he walked and burned the forests to ash. He was the unmaker, the despoiler, thescourge and bane. He was <b>El Terrible</b>. He'd like two of the Lucky Millions scratch-offs, please.

- -<br>

“Four hundred gold pieces! No one, no elf I know could afford that. And all that is is a bag of shucked corn. Why would you ever charge such a price”? <br> The shop keeper did not respond. He could NOT respond. Letting his weight give in to gravity he rested upon the stool and hung his head. Why indeed. That why, is <b>El Terrible</b>.

- -<br>

<b>El Terrible</b>, the Traveler! He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!

<b>Noting Notable:</b>

Season 2, Game 3:
Killed Falcon of the Blue Sky Bombers. Player was promptly saved by apothecary.

Season 2, Game 6:
Successfully bent space/time for the Fighting Yaks. Hans was blocked and KO's in the future with this temporal distortion, which also causes El Terrible to phase out of the dimension for several minutes in second half of the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1914317" > game. </a>

A season two Mid-Season replacement who is popular with the fans.

Season 2, Game 5:
Scored the only touchdown of the game against the Blue Collared Bulk.

Season 2, Game 6
Earned the MVP, some say with careful bribing, against Sorri's Necros. Whatever the case, fans have noticed that Dirigible is moving much faster these days.

Season 3, Game 5
Rose to fame for his silly blitz move which scored him a touchdown against the rough and tough 'Eadbashas. He was last seen in Saurus training trying to pick up a few tips from Spitfire. It also earned him the MVP for the game.
