The first in the imortal trilogy that is The Lord of The Rings.
Written by JR Tolkein in the early to mid-1900's, the books still stand the test of time and show just how visionary Tolkein was. Not only did he write the stories he wrote the history and languages too.
An unbeatable achievenment!

The second in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Some say the best too.
Named by PeteW cos he killed the previous book "Return of the King" after getting into a fit of rage after not being able to get past the word "The" at the begining.
The cruel deviant tossed the book into a crowd of savages where it was torn to shreds!

*****Aged a -1Ma on the first roll*****
A great work of Sci-Fi with an epic feel. The extent to which cultures and customs are described is amazingly detailed. A great read.
The pre-cursor to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by Tolkein.
Was written with more of a fairy-tale feel to it than the later darker books. This is by no means a childrens book, but a book for all ages.
