Dagda's Children
Game 3: Peredur joined the team as one of the fastest and most experienced elves. His first two games were nothing special, but in the third game against a group of scampering rats Peredur snapped. He went on a rampage, seriously injuring two rodents in the team’s otherwise poor game. Dagda saw great potential in Peredur, and granted him his greatest blessing: a portion of his own strength. Now he is much stronger than a normal elf should be, and in time teams may come to fear his name.
Game 1: During the teams first game against a band of rival dark elves, Dagda was not pleased with Myrddin's paltry effort on the field. During the first half he stayed back, lobbing a pass or two up field, instead of joining his comrades in battle. When an opponent finally did get to Myrddin, Dagda empowered him to teach Myrddin a lesson. The blow was so tremendous that it shattered Myrddin's hip, and to this day he can not move as quickly as he use to. Perhaps this lesson will drive Myrddin to accomplish great things, now that he truly knows Dagda's power.
Game 5: Since his injury, Myrddin has been a changed elf. He now knows that his time on this world is precious, and he plans to spend it playing his hardest on the Bloodbowl field. Dagda has taken notice, and though he can not mend Myrddin's shattered hip, he has strengthened his legs to the point that Myrddin can now run just as fast as he use to. His past transgressions aside, Myrddin is once again a fully functional member of the team, even if he has lost precious time and has fallen behind his teammates in terms of progression.
Game 2: Cúchulainn, being a fierce competitor, fought to be put on the line of scrimmage during the teams first game. Though he did not score any touchdowns or injure any opponents, Dagda was pleased by this show of bravery and bestowed his blessing on him. At the start of the second game, even though he still desired to wreak havoc on the band of slimy lizards the team was playing, he put his progress above his primal desires. Cúchulainn instead received the ball, passing it up to a teammate who would shortly score. While Dagda always approves of feats of strength, he even more favors those who play in his name to win. For his efforts, Dagda granted Cúchulainn the power to assault foes many times his strength and size. It doesn’t appear like even Dagda wants Cúchulainn to be away from the fray for long.
Game 5: Cúchulainn continues to be a favorite of Dagda. However, he has not had many opportunities to use his newfound powers. In fact, some teams have targeted him for eliminations, fearing one day what he might become. Just when he seemed to be falling into a deep depression, Dagda again rewarded him, this time with the ability to better grapple with his foes. Cúchulainn now knows that his abilities have been granted for a reason, and looks forward to the day when he can use them to serve Dagda and his team.
Game 5: With a meanacing scowl, Brennus took the field against a troupe of holier-than-thou elves. But something about them set off the already angry Brennus. He scored the first of what would be four touchdowns against them, and was in the thick of the fray for the rest of the game. When the dust cleared, Brennus stood heaving with a wicked smile on his face. While Dagda is still unsure of Brennus, he can not deny his fervor. He has granted Brennus the ability to better grapple with his foes as a test to see if his power will be abused by the unbalanced elf.
Game 3: Beli, a very devout elf, has been unassuming on the Bloodbowl field. While he has scored a touchdown and completed a pass, neither were plays that effected the outcome of the game. Nevertheless, Dagda has rewarded his efforts and devotion with the ability to better grapple with foes in the hopes that he will one day become a fierce fighter.
Game 4:Áedán is another unassuming elf, but one of great courage. He continually puts himself in harms way in the name of the greater good. In fact he has been so busy helping others on his team succeed that he hasn't had much time to gain experience himself. Dagda has rewarded his selflessness by granting him the ability to better grapple with his foes in the hopes that he can cast his opponents aside and get some more experience in the open fields.
Game 4: Gwrtheyrn has started off as the team's go-to touchdown scorer. He first made his mark scoring a great touchdown against a team of rival elves, and again later by scoring the only touchdown against a team of surly, mutated dwarves (ones who put quite a hurting on the rest of the team). Dagda has rewarded Gwrtheyrn by granting him even greater quickness, so that he can continue to put points on the board and help lead him team to victory.
Game 3: Dagda's children squared off again a team of scampering rodents, and the results were less than ideal. However Belenus performed admirably by pushing the ball ahead quickly after a nice kick. Even though nothing came of the play, it gave the elves a chance to score in the first half even though it removed him from most of the rest of the half. As a reward, Dagda has granted him the ability to better grapple with foes in his way.
