Three men were set to hang for murder most foul. Three men whose hearts were black and lacked any sense of remorse. Goodman Tate was the leader, a con man, a card shark... a knife in the dark. He spit in the hangman's eye as the noose was lowered over his head and jeered the crowd. "Cowards!!" he called them. "Face me like a man!" They laughed. Justice they knew was coming for tate and his cronies.

And it did... but not for them. From out of the brush a beast came whose heart was as a dark and deadly as the three men sentenced to die. It came at the behest of Nurgle to slay those who would kill its chosen few. And when it left... three men walked behind it in silence, wading through the pools of blood and whispering the name of the beast with revered tongues.

Since his rebirth at the gallows, Goodman Tate has prided himself at cheating at least one "good man" every day. In his spare time he drinks, gambles and hires out his gang of nurgle's chosen for any petty crime in the streets. Needless to say they are not the most well liked team in the business district.

Currently he dreams of rigging the stunty jug tournament... but for whose benefit is unknown.

Most beastmen are smart enough to reconize that blood bowl is a game, not just an excuse to kill the other team and not get arrested. The "talented" beastmen might even understand that the purpose of "said game" is to get the ball into the endzone. And then there is Dollars, (an affectionate nickname from Goodman Tate, since this beastman has made him a LOT of money).

Dollars is "funny" smart. He doesn't drink with the boys but spends his time running laps, hitting practice dummies and hires little children to run routs so he can work on his passing.

Goodman Tate doesn't understand the beastman's obsession with the game... but he knows money when he sees it.

This scruffy looking beast is a fan favorite. Mainly because Goodman Tate seemed to always yell "Rawhide!!" each time the beastman picked up the ball. The fans noted this strangeness and took it to heart. Now... pretty much anytime this beast walks down the street someone yells out "Rawhide!" to get his attention and hoped for autograph. Ironically... Tate only started yelling the catchphrase to remind the bloodthirsty beast that after he picked up the ball he needed to start heading towards the endzone... not keep blocking with his fellows.
