Cyrus Murderguild worked for several years as the torture master's assistant deep within the hobgoblin slave mines. There he learned countless methods for inflicting terrible pain on his enemies. To obtain his certification as a torture master, Cyrus was required to event a new way of hobbling his victims. After many long hours of study, Cyrus invented a nasty viral agent called the "gut buster."

Unfortunately, Cyrus' "work" got away from him. The virus spread through the entire mine, killing most of the slaves and many of his colleagues. Fearing that he would be shot, Cyrus fled the mines.

A wanted man with a $1,000,000 bounty on his head, Cyrus has dropped his last name and taken to another line of work: blood bowl. His training in torture make him a wicked blocker.

Cyrus facts:
In a game against the human team Whiskey Jars, Cyrus knocked down an ogre and seriously hurt a blitzer (in the same turn!).

Hefty facts:

Hefty scored his first TD against the human team known as Whiskey Jars.

In a season game against the Hanged Men, Hefty injured the beastman known as "Cool Hand Lucas."

Pug facts:

Pug seriously injured the werewolf catcher Therewolf. The injury was so severe, that Therewolf still suffers from a niggling to this day.

He thought it was a sandwhich.

He told it to the police. He told it to he judge. He even told it to his cold-blooded cellmate "Smacky." But noone believed him.

Oly still refuses to tell the whole story, so "Lost" Pug recounted it for us:

"See, Oly was hungry. Real hungry. You know the sort of hungry where you eat garbage? Yeah, he was that hungry. So, anyway, Oly goes into the pub...at least, he thought it was the pub. Turns out, Oly was in the bank. As luck would have it, the bank was being robbed. But Oly is so hungry he don't notice. He goes up to the teller and starts ordering...pickles, onions, pigs ear.....yadda, yadda, yadda. Well, noone really knows what happened after that. Oly ended up eating about $52,000 in cash, the robbers were so flustered that they started fighting with one another, and a Jade wizard showed up and turned everyone into newts. Here's where things got really sticky. See, the Jade wizard couldn't undo the spell. Everybody was stuck as a newt for several weeks. Including during the trial. The judge, she couldn't tell who was bankers and who was robbers. Plus, noone really understood who or what Oly was doing....so the whole trial was nuts. Over the course of the trial, one by one the newts turned back into people. And as they transformed, each of them claimed that everybody else was the robbers. Well, it gets down to one newt left which happens to be Oly. And everybody is claiming that Oly was the robber....well, he did eat all the money......but okay yeah they were framing the silly git. Poor old Oly, he gets sentenced to 30 years. By the time he changes back, several weeks into his serving his sentence, all he can do is appeal. He starts appealing. Takes him two years to get out. I was a mate of his, so I asks him once he gets out what he going to do. He says play blood bowl. I say why. He says I got to pay back $52,000 to the bank. I says how come. He says cuz I ate it. I ate $52,000. I thought it was a sandwhich. Then he cusses."

Oly facts:

Oly has attempted many, many passes in his tenure with 4th Midnight. Very, very few have been completed.

Oly amazed everyone by scoring a TD against the dwarven team Strange Brew XXX. Oly said of his score: "I thought I wuz scorin for tha other team. Wuz tryin to be funny."

Oly went off on the human team Whiskey Jars. Oly had a completion, a TD, and won the MVP. After this game, people were forced to say that Oly might be an emerging star. "If he didn't make so many poor plays," an opposing coach noted, "I would say he might be worth having on yer roster. Course, he does. So, he isn't."

In a game agains the chaos team Nurgle's Nemesis, Oly managed to seriously hurt a beastman.

Oly is one of the only surviving players of the original 4th Midnight roster.

He was the only bull centaur that would answer their call. His beard was knotted and hung like a sheet of chainmall from his battle-worn face. He spit a lot (even for a bull centaur).

Framed Oly kept asking him for a name, but he would not answer. Fans decided to call him Eight Deaths. Eight Deaths...the number of players taken by the reaper.

Eight Deaths killed the wight blitzer Smoke. Unfortunately, Smoke regenerated the wound.
