However: even a goblin brain is slightly better than none at all.

Sometimes skin is needed to patch up important orcs. To harden the skin and to make sure it has impressive scars, goblin donors are put on the field in quite a few games before they're concidered ready.

The donors are put on the field dead drunk to test the quality of the liver: if a goblin can still play half decently, than the liver must be fine.

The gobbos are swifter and more agile than most orcs. Therefore cerebellum, with many coordinating functions, are of great use in the back of the orc skull. And the more blood bowl, the better the cerebellum. Unless it's bashed to hard, naturally.
