Wandering Monsters
Although he only ever made it to about Level 9, Cavalier Masoleous had some great adventures, including an immensely lucky (no Fumbbl RNG used on these rolls!) find of +3 magical full plate armour that actually fit him, and coming within one saving throw from death going toe-to-toe with a green dragon, after the 'really tough' members of the party had already turned and run...and even one rather bizarre 'cross over' adventure in which he and his adventuring buddies encountered mysterious rat-men mining glowing green stone in near a magical portal breach that had somehow opened up between dimensions!
Lo, now he is one of them!
In his current incarnation, he seeks a glorious career on the Blood Bowl pitch in the Gary Gygax Memorial Cup!
Actually the last name of the Cavalier Masoleous Carnassos, this Storm Vermin is our backup plan should Masoleous fall...
While not actually from D&D, Jens Najtar was an accomplished Realm Runner piloting his battered sea plane in defense of the Earth when the Guant Man and his co-horts invaded in an attempt to drain the planet of Possibilities and become Torg!
A curious Kender handler, whose hijinx, while amusing to the rest of the party, tended to irritate our combat-heavy DM to no end - thus often resulting in his repeated and gruesome death.
(Ok, so trying to lasso the baby black dragon and keep it as a pet was probably not a good idea. But come on...a party of fighters, mages, and clerics gets ambushed by several Draconians, and the Draconian mages all target ONLY the kender* who failed his surprise roll! "Don't worry about the heavily muscled knights in armour charging at us with glowing swords raised! Forget the wild-eyed guys in bright robes pointing at us with fingers bristling with lightning! Get the short git looking blankly up at the trees with his back turned! If he's so calm, he MUST be the dangerous one!"
*I'm guessing this 'random targeting dice roll' was my true first encounter with the JavaBowl Random Number Generator... :p
An elven mage from my Baldur's Gate II party.
A female cleric from my Baldur's Gate II party.
An amazingly quick but low level elven archer, who gave his life to protect his friends.
A wandering monster ... what's taken to fouling blokes.
What the smeg is a kobold anyway!? I mean, Beholder, ok, I get it. Kobold?! I think he was drunk the day he made them up.
