The fifth chapter of the Necromancer's Handbook contains an oft-discussed statement: "Zombies are limited by their lack of toes. If zombies had toes, then perhaps they would be more effective. Sadly, zombies with all their toes are very rare." A recent revision to the chapter, written by the infamous necromancer Karl Izved Von Zabor, takes the statement a step further: "One often hears talk about zombies with all their toes. Such thoughts are fun to ponder, but strictly academic. In 323 years I have not seen a zombie with more than 6 toes, let alone an entire set. I recommend that necromancer's stop wasting precious time with whimsical conversations about zombies with 10 toes and focus more on what to do with zombies in hand."
Von Zaber's "take" on the situation sounded completely reasonable, but then something miraculous happened: A zombie came out of the ground with all his toes. All ten. Even his pinkies.
The zombie, dubbed "All his toes" by the newspapers, came right up out of the blood bowl pitch. Rumors abound that the corpse was the long lost body of Ludwig Nipps, star receiver for the Bretonnian team known as the Crosstown Clutch. Both blood bowl fans and necromancer's are excited to see what the future holds for this zombie enigma.
