Ludwig Josef Johann Wittgenstein, was an Austrian philosopher who worked primarily in the foundations of logic, the philosophy of mathematics, the philosophy of mind, and the philosophy of language. His influence has been wide-ranging and he is generally regarded as one of the most important philosophers.

Wittgenstein inherited a large fortune when his father died. Although he was invigorated by his study in Cambridge Wittgenstein came to feel that he could not get to the heart of his most fundamental questions while surrounded by other academics. He retreated to the relative solitude of the remote village of Skjolden at the end of the Sognefjord in Norway.

After Squandering his grand fortune Wittgenstein looked for a way to find the glory and gold he desired so. His dreams were accomplished when he found his greatest challenge yet, Blood Bowl, just as Ludwig solved logic and language so will he solve the glorious sport of Bloodbowl

Sir Alfred Jules ("Freddie") Ayer, British philosopher known for his promotion of Logical Positivism.

At a party held by fashion designer Fernando Sanchez, Ayer confronted Mike Tyson harassing the model Naomi Campbell. When Ayer demanded that Tyson stop, the boxer said: "Do you know who the **** I am? I'm the heavyweight champion of the world," to which Ayer replied: "And I am the former Wykeham Professor of Logic. We are both pre-eminent in our field. I suggest that we talk about this like rational men". Ayer and Tyson then began to talk, while Naomi Campbell slipped out.

Since his depart from the world of Philosophy Freddie has taken to the sport of Blood Bowl, utilizing his destructive power, both metaphysics and his victims tremble at his presence on the pitch.
