Nifty Wrenchtwist was justly famous for his Gnomish Cannonball act. He was at first reluctant to leave his career in show business, but as it turned out there was considerable demand for a gnome utterly lacking a self-preservation instinct...

Big Bertha was built by Nifty Wrenchtwist as part of his world-famous Gnomish Cannonball act. Over the years so many bits of odd machinery have been added to it that by now the Fighters swear it seems almost alive.

Sniggle worked as a demolitions expert before an unfortunate mishap forced him to relocate. He ditched the mob on his heels by dodging into a circus tent, where he caught the attention of Impresario Fizzracket. After considering his survival chances outside the tent, he quickly signed on as the circus' pyrotechnician.

Mad Diggle spends most of his time mixing up strange chemicals and giggling. For a while he held the job of Team Apothecary, but his nitroglycerin-based remedies quickly got him relocated to a Bomber position.

Thrown out of the army for unnecessary enthusiasm in a demolitions expert, hired by Geedo Fizzracket to add more boom to the team. In the words of Geedo himself: 'Explosions! I gotta have more explosions!'
