Lightsout Larry has plenty of potential, insist Barrage Fans - at least they hope so. Recruited as the lynchpin and key blocker for the team, Larry has failed to make a significant impact since his first few starts, usually blocking competently but displaying a worrying tendency to go dim or get shoved over at crucial moments. Inexcusably for an ogre, he's yet to notch a single casualty. While he has the backing of his ever-loyal coach, it can't be long until everyone else runs out of patience with the Barrage's problem child.
Since 2 TDs resulted in him displaying an uncanny ability to jump in and assist in blocking, Brawn has found his opportunities for glory limited. However, he's not the whinging type (yet) and has slotted well into his role as a minder for Peyton Mangling in the backfield and some much-needed muscle along the line.

Every team needs a few playmakers, and Peyton mangling certainly fills that role even at this early stage in his career. Already accurate before extra training with close friend and teammate Leon Fox helped his all-round agility, Mangling's ability to weave his way out of tricky spots and reliably deliver a catchable ball has saved many Barrage drives from breaking down.
Marcus Mercury has been overshadowed by teammate Leon Fox, and consistently is down the pecking order in receptions, TDs and playing time. He's a reliable backup to the 'silver fox', however, and consistently turns up to let his coach know how ready and eager he is to get on the field. And is consistently ignored.

Leon Fox seemed like an ordinary-but-capable receiver until his second TD (picked during a 3-0 win over Legio XVII) resulted in him displaying remarkable agility for a human. He followed this up with a show-stopping 4-TD performance that overturned a 2-0 deficit against Black Plage and seemed (if it was possible) to be even pacier than before. Since then, he's scored in every game the Barage have played, and has learned some basic blocking skills - the hard way. This young star is threatening to turn the Barrage into a one-man show, but the other players (and fans) seem content to roll along with 'quicksilver Fox' - until his ropey blocking technique leads to an inevitable bad end, at least....
