Runefangs
Baum started his first game in typical Runefang thrower tradition by Fumbling a quick pass in a bad position. Somehow still miraculously awarded the MVP, fans are expecting bad thing from "the curse" in his second game.

In game 7 Zane made fans sit up and take notice as he caused two casualties on a tough Chaos opponent. Fans are looking forward to seeing the team's "Hammer" in action a lot in the future!
While a skull fracture set back Zane a little and left him more vulnerable to future injury... his tough attitude (and leading the team in blocks and casualties) made him a shoe in to be elected Team Captain (on the untimely death of Karl Kopp...) and his 10th casualty led him to be the team's first Emerging Star outside the Catcher ranks!

An injury to Franz Bronson made Eric the only player to have played in all the Runefang's games after game 17. This blue collar blocker is a consistent contributer to the team and its only a matter of time before fans start becoming more aware of him.
Eric played in all 32 of the teams first games, but finally missed the 33rd to a SI... but longevity paid off, and in his 35th game Eric caused a casualty that finally has him recognized as an Emerging Star on the team. We wish him many mighty blocks in the future!
Knut exploded onto the team in his first game with 2 TD's and a casualty! Fans are hoping for great things from this young Blitzer!
Georg has been playing well for his whole career, but fans really took notice when he managed to break through a double team and scoop up a covered ball for a desparate score against the Wraiths of Rubblefield. Georg is a shining example of how the Blitzers are becoming the core of this team!
Luk was the first Runefang lineman to score a TD! He enjoyed handling the ball so much he trained hard to improve his kicking so he could hold it before every defensive drive!
Hubert did not touch the ball or throw a single block despite being on the field for his entire first game... but he did distinguish himself when a Dragon Prince adept at dodging failed to get clear of Hubert into open space, not once, but twice! His second game was less glorious... with still no stats accumulated... at least he was one of only four players still on the field at the end of the game! Then in game three Hubert threw his first block with an assist... double skulls and then re-roll... skull and skull/pow against a guy with block. Poor Hubert went down in a heap and pretty much laid there until the last snap... where he was on the line as Troll bait. Not only did he manage to bring the troll down with him (all skull/pows) but he hurt the big guy on the way down! Awarded an MVP for the match... is Hubert's career now on the rise? Perhaps... but when he become a designated "chipper" with the guard skill it took Hubert 4 games to finally make a block!
However the fans have taken notice of the intrepid linemen and awarded him some MVP's while watching him cause another casualty and despite a leg injury that limits his speed, he is one of the premeir linemen on the team!
After 5 quiet games, Kyle impressed fans and coaches in the 6th when he caused a casualty on the ball carrier, scooped up the ball and ran it back for a TD! Then in game 7 he wowed fans by knocking down a Saurus on a legendary "Triple Skull" block! (only to be immediately knocked out by a skink and failing to complete a pass for a skill in garbage time...)
