Leaping Lepprechauns
Ol' reliable team punter. Been fatally wounded several times on the pitch and has quite a few scars to prove it, but somehow, unlike few of his fellow wardancer teammates, managed to elude the old grim reaper so far. He claims it's probably his name that's kept him "safe". 26 games and counting, and he still didn't learn anything new except to chuck that pigskin deep into the opposing field...

The most experienced team veteran and a true inspiration to young tight-wearing woody sportsfans. Quiet, focused, disciplined and sturdy, Hamish has played every single team game (so far), dodging and scurrying through the field like woodies know best. When asked why he had been chosen mvp more than any other player in the team (almost twice as much as his star teammate, Sequoia The Sturdy), Hamish simply shrugged his shoulders and said "Beats me, I'm only doing my job". Perhaps it's the best answer he could have given - when the rest of the team fails, he doesn't and almost never did, actually, saving his teammates' dignity on quite a few occasions. Rumors are circling about his early retirement, since he declared after his last game (and 7th MVP award) that he feels there should be some new blood brought into the team and place made for the new talent, especially since the team lifted off after Ash and Birch joined. The fans, however, expressed a strong revolt against him leaving the team, even a few hot-headed young druid hate-mails arrived, threatening to put a curse on the team if they let him go. The team just hit the cap of 200, making their way into the big league. What happens next is in Nuffle's hands...

A blocking daemon... He just came out of nowhere and started bashing heads, causing 1 casualty after another. His first impro was a dbl 4, earning him the block. His second, after game no 8 (which included 2 casualties, 1 of which was a fatality, no apothecary was used) his strength jumped up, causing the coach's veins to pulse out of his forehead... Will there be a 3rd double for the sturdy log, which already earned a number of nicknames, such as "lucky lumber" and "the tree of madness"...? Only time will tell...
Game 9, vs some high elves: officially the lousiest roll game ever - every 3rd roll or so was a 1, a catcher died while failing a dodge and everything was falling apart. After being idiotically rooted for most of the first half, he finally started dealing some punches in the second half and ended up killing a dragon warrior, thus saving the honor of the team at least for a bit. P.S. A dancer failed to land a leap during a final blitz (yes, it wuz a 1), causing the opponent to score in the final turn for a 2:1 victory...
