1. having seen exactly how effective ms Vorbei had been in the recently finished match versus the ravens ms Hexerei decided to ask her long time friend exactly how she managed to cover the opponents so well. ms Vorbei promtly agreed to give instructions and anyone else interested in learning her knack for tackling players trying to dodge away and pretty soon ms Hexerei had learned the skill to perfection, feeling confident that what her friend could do she could do just as well

1. following a game against a team of gobbos where ms Vorbei had been thoroughly annoyed at the little buggers slipping through her fingers she decided to study some of the great tacklers of all time, she became a regular at especially dwarf games studying with great care how these seemingly little roadblocks seemed to repeatedly annoy elven teams so much. all that time studying their techniques bore fruit for her, as she soon realized that she was having an easier time locking up her tackles preventing ellusive players from slipping away

1. mr Langekasten was originally from the altdorf pikemen and the camaraderie and strict adherence to teamwork meant that he was allways looking for ways to help his fellow player. knowing that he would occationally have to lay that all important block for a fellow friend the former soldier of the reich naturally decided to ask for some pointers from the blitzers, in how best to do so. with time he became quite adept at this aspect of the game allthough he knew enough not to actively seek them out and it was a rare sight indeed to see him toe the line with a lineman, rellying instead on placing a timed assist or an important blitz, allways careful to break off contact as soon as possible

1. having played an interesting game against a goblin team mr Totten realized that he thoroughly enjoyed fighting against someone weaker than he was, so he imediately started a gruesome regime of weight training lifting gobbos and flings until finally he was able to throw them around with ease. at that time he graduated to doing the same with the happless beggars and vagrants the steelers took in as sparing partners for him. eventually he developed into a massive brute of a man, able to stand against even some black orcs.

unfortunately he was still a lousy blocker but that wasn't really that important to him
