Jeng Droga was an Emperor's Hand who served Emperor Palpatine
during the Galactic Civil War. A Jar'Kai practitioner, he was
fanatically loyal and dedicated to his master, with whom he
shared a psychic link. Droga, who captained the Emperor's
Shadow, oversaw the other Emperor's Hands and accompanied
Palpatine on any hazardous missions.

Maarek Stele was a pilot in the Imperial Navy and one of the Emperor's Hands. A native
of Kuan, he enlisted in the Imperial Navy after the Galactic Empire rescued him from
Bordali agents near the end of the Taroonian Civil War. Although he initially served
as a mechanic, Stele was offered the opportunity to train as a TIE pilot after saving
the life of Admiral Mordon.

Sarcev Quest began as a Jedi initiate. Failing to find a Master willing to make him a Padawan by his thirteenth year, he entered the Agricultural Corps, the supposed refuge for those who could never make the grade as an apprentice.

It was long before the rise of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY that Quest was rescued, as he put it, from this monotony. During his rise to power, Palpatine brought the young Quest into his service.

Vess Kogo was a Human male Emperor's Hand. After his mother was injured as a bystander during a Rebel protest against Imperial taxes on the planet Hanofar, Kogo developed a burning hatred for the Rebellion, which he fueled with the dark side after becoming one of Emperor Palpatine's Hands. As an agent of the Emperor, Kogo often carried out missions requiring little subtlety but a substantial amount of destruction. His obsession with the Rebel Alliance often caused him to take detours during his missions, during which he pursued agents of the Rebellion in acts of vengeance.
