Fischester has battled through some hard times recently, and although being able to throw the ball like any other elf squad (really well) is nice, it's almost unimportant if you don't have that special someone to throw to. That's Whedal Jellyfish "Nani." Not many players could catch Nani, which is a stark contrast to Nani who can catch a ball from anywhere. Nani once explained his training to become such a renowned catcher, saying that he spent days at a time in a shallow stream attempting to catch fish with his bare-hands, while blind folded. After he could do this confidently, he did it while hungry wood bears where trying to do the same thing. A few fish, and scars later, Nani made an impression that won't soon be forgotten on the Fishchester coaching staff. And is a key part of Fishchester's recent offense.

Noted well for his famous "Back flip" scoring celebrations.

When A young Frezzia Snow Crab "Bruce" arrived at the Fishchester training camp, two things were apparent. That this young bright eyed energetic elf had an amazing tempo that none of her junior peers could match, and that she was hellbent on becoming a First Team-er for Fishchester United. Years later, she has survived quite a lot and grown to become a successful part of the Fishchester squad. It took Frezzia 5 years to work her way from the junior team, to the reserves list, and finally to bench of the First Team, but when she turned 19 she was ready to take up her place along side her more distinguished partner Beta Ray Van Nistrelrooy, it was then she was given her Playing Name. Every Fishchester First Team player is given a "mantle" of an ancient player from the Fischester lore, it is a way of honoring these brave souls. Frezzia Snow Crab became Snow Crab "Bruce," a very prestigious name-sake that the head coach gave to her. Now 2 years later, "Brucie" (a nickname Sting Raymos is very fond of calling her.) has come so far from her days watching from the bench to become the heart of the Fishchester squad.

An amazing all around talent, and an almost peerless hand with the ball, passing the ball, or retrieving the ball. Commentators have likened her to a crashing wave on defense, ebbing back before surging forward and taking the ball from even the most well defended ball carriers.

Fans fond of "Brucie" are often heard starting their famous 'Brucie Chant' which at first sounds like booing, but is an elongated cressendo of: "BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE!"
