Smoogle (Smurf Friend) is a pink rabbit and is the pet, and best friend, of Nanny Smurf. Smoogle often helps Nanny Smurf and the other smurfs get out of tricky situations.

Chitter (Smurf Friend) is the best friend of Wild Smurf. He is a grey squirrel who is never far from Wild Smurfs side and is often seen munching on his favorite food, opponents!

Clumsy Smurf is the clumsiest Smurf in the Smurf Village. He's always tripping over tree roots, chair legs and dropping things all the place. Clumsy Smurfs clumsiness is always getting him into trouble, but every now and again Clumsy Smurf manages to stumble onto something important to the Smurfs!

Wild Smurf lives in the forest away from all the other Smurfs and goes about in clothing made from leaves. He doesn't live alone out there, but has his best friend Chitter never far from his side. Wild Smurf has trouble in speaking with the the other Smurfs, but he is able to communicate with all the other forest life. Wild Smurf often helps out all the other Smurfs with his special abilities.

Brainy Smurf is the second in command at the smurf village. He's known as the brains of the village, hence the name, but also as a bit of a know-it-all - which often gets him into a bit of trouble with other smurfs. Most smurfs find find annoying, due to his long lectures on things, but he does have one friend in the village who puts up with him, his best friend Clumsy Smurf. Brainy Smurf is easily recognised by his glasses.

Vanity Smurf is in love with himself. He often wears a flower in his hair and is very fond of his own image. You'll never find Vanity far from his mirror - which he loves to stare into.

Hefty Smurf is the strongest of all the smurfs. He loves all sports and is often found lifting dumbbells or lifting Brainy Smurf... and then tossing him! Hefty believes in exercise and often encourages other smurfs to do so, also. He is best friends with Handy Smurf and often helps him out when Handy needs a bit of muscle on the job. Hefty has a tattoo of a love heart on his arm.

Nanny Smurf loves to knit for the other smurfs. She is a typical Granma and is always helping out the other smurfs in the village. She can be easily identified by her grey hair and glasses. Her best friend is the pink rabbit, Smoogle, who is never far from her side.

Papa Smurf is the leader of the smurfs. He's 542 years old, which makes him the 3rd oldest smurf behind Granpa and Nanny Smurf. Papa Smurf is an alchemist and has his own laboratory where he often creates potions and elixirs to help the smurfs in their adventures. Papa Smurf is easily recognisable by his red clothes and big white beard.

Smurfette is one of the few female smurfs in the smurf world. For a long while she was the only female smurf around, but eventually came Sasette and Nanny Smurf. She is distinguishable from the other smurfs by her long yellow hair, eyelashes and her white dress and white shoes. Nearly all the smurfs in smurf village have a huge crush on smurfette.

Handy Smurf is the Smurf which goes about fixing and inventing things in the Smurf Village. Handy is often seen going about with a tool in his hand and a toolbox by his side. Amongst Handy Smurfs invention are a Weather Controlling Machine and a Smurfmobile, but he's most famous for his invention of Clockwork Smurf. Handy is best friends with Hefty Smurf and often calls on him when a bit of muscle is required for the job.

Grouchy Smurf is the smurf that is constantly complaining about absolute everything. He is always frowning, always clenching his fists and saying that he hates everything. Grouchy smurf likes to stick to himself.

Clockwork Smurf is a mechanical Smurf that was created by Handy Smurf. Clockwork Smurf is only able to communicate with lots of mechanical sounds and is unable to speak Smurfy language. Due to a lot of trouble which occured between Brainy Smurf and Handy Smurf when Clockwork Smurf was created, Clockwork Smurf spends more time away from the Smurf Village, then in it.
