Hastur (The Unspeakable One, Him Who Is Not to be Named, Assatur, Xastur, or Kaiwan) is a fictional character in the Cthulhu Mythos. He appeared in numerous novels, esp. by Zimmer brothers and in Chamber's <i> "The king in yellow" </i>.
Azazel is the chief of the Se'irim, or goat-demons, who haunted the desert and to whom most primitive Semitic tribes offered sacrifices. The name's meaning is 'strong one of God.'
In babylonian mythology, Kingu, or <i>Qingu</i>, was the husband of his mother, the goddess Tiamat, who wanted to establish him as ruler and leader of all gods. She gave Kingu the Tablets of Destiny, which gave him enormous power. From his blood is said that all humanity was created.
