Although she is considered the star by many fans, Jigglypuff enjoys falling asleep in the KO box, sometimes for entire halves. When she isn't sleeping, she is sending other players to rest in the KO box with her lovely voice after a successful block.

Kirby enjoys the blood bowl scene more than many of the other Sumashu Buzazus. There are many new and exciting foes for him to eat and learn from! Initially, he declined the contract offered to him, thinking he should be the star. When Pikachu joined as a lineman however, he was forced to accept. Since the beginning of the season, the intense rivalry between the two has made them both perform better than expected.
Because of his frustration with Jigglypuff taking the star player position, he has made a point to be an extremely violent player. He established himself as such when he killed Wristslasher of the 7 Emo Elfs on 3/25/10. Unfortunately for Wristslasher, even the apothecary couldn't do anything with his veins so mutilated from years of bloodletting.

Shortly after coming out of the closet with Luigi, Mario was offered his dream; bending over on the pitch to take one for his team. Years of chasing the princess in vain and consuming too many fire flowers not only made him a flamer, but also made him good at smashing blocks and dodging attacks. He is indisputably part of what little backbone the team has.

Team trivia: Mario only accepted the contract under the terms that he be allowed to eat mushrooms throughout the season, and that he be paid fully in coins.

When Bowser found out Mario had swung the other way, he knew he could no longer lure him into battle with the princess. If he ever wanted to see Mario in peril again, he would need to join the Blood Bowl Sevens League. Unfortunately, no other team would accept him; so, he settled for a field view of Mario getting bashed.
