In the Broken Lands, the Winds of Chaos blow strongly; here the gods select their worthy emissaries.

The emissary of Khorne is named the Murderthrall, and is renowned even in that violent land as unstoppably brutal. As one of the four Eversworn of Chaos, the Murderthrall is created when the Skull-chalice of Khem-lakoor is sent from the Realm of Chaos into the mortal world and the hands of the chosen warrior. Once he has obtained the Skull-Chalice, it is taken to the Blood Bowl arena at the collapsed polar gate, and filled with the life-blood of a slain opponent on the field.

As the new Murderthrall consumes the blood from the Skull-Chalice, his Chaos Armor begins to glow a brilliant crimson, and the Skull-Chalice itself fades from this world back into the Realm of Chaos.
