Horrid Henrys
Henry Kelly, esteemed Irish TV presenter had not been seen for a while. Many presumed his lack of TV air time was due to his increasing age and that he was taking things easy. That couldn't be further from the truth. An unfortunate encounter with a lycanthropic contestant on Going fort Gold had left Henry with the curse of the Werewolf. Initially ashamed he had hidden away, desperate to hide his secret from the prying eyes of the tabloid press. Before long though the urge to kill grew too strong and Henry would prowl the streets looking for food.
Reading the sporting press one day, he saw that the Blood Bowl team the Horrid Henry's had recently lost a Werewolf when Henry Winkler, their ageing star, had taken a knock too many in one game and had decided that retirement was the better part of valour. Henry got in contact and with the promise of as much steak as he could eat each full moon and the opportunity to travel the Old World, Henry joined the team.

Famed for his political service during the administrations of both Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, Kissinger hid a secret from the world for many years. Many believed him to be born Germany but the awful truth was that he was created in the lab of the infamous scientist Ernst Franklestein. Breathing life into his hideous creation Ernst could never know that his creature would go on to be the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.
Having served his country for many years, Henry found that he missed the old country and once again longed to feel bones snap within his vice like grip. He left his old life behind him and signed up with the Henrys for a few seasons of BloodBowl mayhem.
Game 1 vs Di Khemri is Not Yet Born (Khemri). A stunning display in what was generally a poor game for the Henrys saw Henry cause 1 CAS and earn the MVP award. the subsequent Skill Increase saw his already awesome strength boosted. Henry was revitalised and with the smell of blood in his nostrils he was hungry for more action.
Game 6 vs Guttersnipers (Skaven) and Henry was once again MVP. An outstanding solo display saw Henry throwing the smack down and he came out of the game a better Golem with a new skill to add to his arsenal.

Fonda's performances on stage and screen belied the fact that he was a lifeless lump of flesh animated by arcane necromantic magic. Characters such as the heartless killer in Once Upon a Time in the West came easy to Fonda and were based more on real-life experiences than his audience would ever know.
No longer having to pretend to have feelings and emotions, the cold life of the Golem was once again available to Fonda and he grabbed it by the throat with both hands and shakes it to this day on the BloodBowl pitch.
Henry had a marvellous game during the threepeat game against the Mother Superiors. Causing causalities and winning the coveted MVP award saw him elevated within the team and as the results of intensive training following that game his heavy blows increased in strength and he now relishes the chance of crushing his opponents like over-ripe melons.

"Any colour you like as long as it's black" - Few people realised that this simply mirrored the darkness within Henry Fords heart. As a Wight, a creature of the night, everything for him was a shade of black. His evil knew no bounds and his crowning glory was to achieve mass production of a 4 wheeled, death dealing, smoke spewing machine that endures to this day.
Bored of causing mayhem vicariously through his mechanical machines, Ford threw off the clothes of respectability to join the Henrys and live the life of a BloodBowl star

In one of the strangest cases of mistaken intent ever recorded, Henry Heimlich, the wight, had firmly grasped his latest victim in his icy grip and was squeezing the life out of him when a piece of food that was previously lodged in his victims throat came flying out. Shocked by the turn of events, Henry dropped the man and was immediately surrounded by grateful people, shaking his hands and thanking him for saving the man's life.
Unable to live with the ignominy and finding himself the butt of jokes by all his Necro friends, Heimlich swore to kill and maim until his last breath. The Henrys presented such an opportunity within the confines of the BloodBowl stadium and Heimlich soon signed up.
For 6 games, Henry was a shining light amidst the otherwise poor performances of the team. Game 7, however, proved a sad turning point when he was killed stone dead midway through the match. The necromantic coach had his back to the action at the time and it was only when he turned round and saw the back of the undertakers disappearing down the players tunnel that he knew something was amiss. Later that night, following arcane rituals layed down by his sorcerous forebearers, he re-animated Henry with the spark of undeath and the mighty Wight was free from Death's grip and ready to wreak carnage on the field again.

A prolific writer and a key figure in 19th century literary realism. As a zombie player for the Henrys, James is a key figure in the dismemberment of opposition players.
Game 1 vs Di Khemri is Not Yet Born (Khemri). Shuffling forward, a low level moan escaping his lips, his thirst for brains drowning out everything else saw Henry walk straight into a clubbing right hand from a Khemrian Mummy and he went down hard. One game in and he's already missing the next game.

In life Henry McCarty or Billy the Kid as he was also known, was a vicious killer. Notorious in the Old West he was reputed to have shot 21 men. What is less well known is that since his death and subsequent ressurection as a lumbering Zombie, he's responsible for nearly 4 times as many fatalities.
Constantly hungering for brains Henry now plies his trade for the Henrys where his 'skills' are put to good use.
Game 3 saw Henry rise to the occasion and he seriously injured an Elf who dared suggest that his legend had been somewhat embellished. Henry showed him just how dangerous he can be and the Kid was once more notorious. Hour's of coaching paid off and the shuffling gun-slinger learnt how to block other players.

Another if the Henrys players that was a prolific writer was alive, Miller was known for breaking with existing literary forms and developing a new sort of 'novel'. Raised from the dead as a Zombie, he's now better known for breaking bones and developing new sorts of painful ways to humiliate his opponents.

Henry Rollins: Singer-songwriter, raconteur, stand-up comedian, spoken word artist, writer, publisher, actor, radio DJ, and blood-thirsty Ghoul. Henry, most famous for fronting hardcore punk band Black Flag now prowls the BloodBowl field, serenading his opponents with the sweet, sweet song of pain. Their screams mingling with the percussive sounds of breaking bones is the only thing that can raise a smile. Black Flag may be no more but the black heart that beats within Henry's chest is still going strong.
Recently drafted to the Henry's starting line-up following the injuries to 2 players in the first game of the season, a lot is expected of Henry.

Generally known as H. Rider Haggard or Rider Haggard, Henry was born at Bradenham, Norfolk, the eighth of ten children. Unlike his older brothers, Henry met with an unfortunate incident when he was bitten by a werewolf while out on a camping trip with the Scouts.
Although he forged a successful career as a writer, he never felt better than when satiating his blood-lust during the full moon. After being chased from yet another village by pitchfork wielding peasants, Henry accepted an invite from the Henrys to join them in the carnival of carnage that was BloodBowl.
Game 6 was Henry's first game but a serious injury early in the 1H saw him carried off the pitch. A poor first performance by anyone's standard.

Henry Cavill had been a fine actor, he'd enjoyed the fame and the adulation of his fans. For many years though he'd hidden a dark and terrible secret, one that had gnawed away at him in much the same way he gnawed away at the bones of the recently deceased when in his Winnibago between takes. Henry had come to love the taste of human flesh.
Unable to control his desires any longer, Henry had given up his life of cinematic fame and joined up with the Henry's to wreak havoc on the Blood Bowl pitch and to indulge his more twisted appetites. He's new to the team and yet to prove his worth but who wouldn't want a Superman on their team?.....
St John Smythe was a proud and Noble Elf. Slim, attractive, swift of foot and strong of arm he was the poster boy for the High Elf BloodBowl team the Mother Superiors. They hadn't had a great start to the season and had slipped to the bottom of the table but St John's performances had been outstanding and he was not only ranked as their top player but as a possible Hall of Fame entrant come the close of the season.
Due to the vagaries of the Swiss League system, the Mother Superiors had become embroiled in a series of ever more brutal grudge matches with the Horrid Henrys. It was during the threepeat match that St John found his speed to be his downfall and he outstripped his own team but not the shuffling horde of the undead who cut him off from safety and then, with a devastating tackle, cut him off from this mortal coil as well. Briefly St John saw a bright light and heard the soft welcoming voices of his Elfen forefathers calling him to paradise but then he felt an intense pain and an arcane magic dragged his soul back into his broken body and back into the game he loved. Unfortunately, for St John anyway, it was into the very team he had come to hate.
The ball was kicked off for the second half and Jonty, the High Elf Lineman, looked up from his position on the line of scrimmage and stared into the face of his old friend. He recalled hazy days in the forest when, as young boys, they would climb trees and build dens; they grew up together, went to school together, dated the Greenleaf sisters together. St John was even Godparent to Jonty's first-born son. "St John", whispered Jonty in horror. "Brainssss" moaned the animated creature that was once St John Smythe and he lurched forward, teeth bared, and tore into his former friend.
