The rotund, genial Lord Percival Cholmondeley is one of England's most notable explorers and the founder of the All England Adventure Club. Known to his friends as "Chum," to his enemies as "Old Beans and Biscuits" and to people who have mistaken him for someone else as "Bill," Lord Percival's most notable physical feature is an impressive pair of muttonchop sideburns.

Jack Devers grew up poor, the son of a London washerwoman. His father went off to war, and was killed when Jack was only a small boy. An agile and clever lad, Jack was forced to leave school early to help support his family. He's gone off to seek his fortune, hoping to bring home a share of treasure from the East and allow his poor old mum to retire in peace.

They call former sailor/pickpocket/general ne'er do well Sam Laverock "The Grimy Limey" -- and while he's not the most charming dinner companion, he knows how to get things done. He's gone from fleeing down the alleyways of London to fleeing from Blood Bowl-playing monsters... when he doesn't stand up and knee them in the groin.
