Head Krushaz
Huge, Green, and by far the strongest Orc on the team, Snagrog Deadeye is the self proclaimed Boss of the Head Krushaz. With a savage demeanor which makes even his fellow Black Orcs quell in fear, Snagrog is indeed a sight to behold on the field. He considers himself and his Black Orc companions the team's elite and the most important members. While this statement is up for debate, no one has dared questioned him...or at least none we know of.
While Orcs are known for fighting, Snagrog literally breathes for it. Be it off pitch signing autographs or on pitch in the center field, he cannot help but swing a punch at someone. Its simply a matter of how long he can restrain himself. While on the Blood Bowl Pitch, he completely lets himself go. Alongside his three fellow blockers, it is a common sight to see Snagrog and his fellow Black Orcs amongst the thickest of the fighting and smashing heads.
As a Black Orc, Snagrog takes the sport of Blood Bowl very seriously and is ruthless when it comes to the team's play on field. His fellow Black Orcs follow his commands to the letter but to his dismay the other Orcs tend to ignore him or are too occupied doing their own thing. This only angers Snagrog and proves to him just how much better he and his blockers are in comparison to the rest of the team.
It is his intention to show those in the Open Leagues that he and his boyz are the strongest there is and what better way to do that than to break some skulls?

Blood Bowl is a lot of things but one thing it is not is kind. Snagrog has recently received a crippling injury. After a werewolf embedded its great claws into his chest, Snagrog was believed to be dead. Fortunately the team's apothecary managed to fix him up. Unfortunately the wound never fully healed and now Snagrog moves at half pace, his gaping wound failing to have healed fully. As a result Snagrog can now be regularly heard within earshot groaning in discomfort. To the surprise of many none of the other Black Orcs seem interested in attempting to replace him.
Second only to Snagrog, Gorgutz is a roaring behemoth of destruction. While Snagrog is the boss/Captain of the team, Gorgutz is a very close second. While not as robust nor as hardy as his Boss, Gorgutz still sports a terrible arsenal of gougers, spiked boots and thick muscle.
Similarly to Boss Snagrog, Gorgutz too holds great contempt for his fellows, particularly the Blitzers who he thinks are just glory hogging show offs and leave the hard work to them. However, in spite of these feelings, these thoughts are swiftly forgotten and put aside as Gorgutz loves nothing more than getting stuck into the fiercest of fights. In particular he enjoys facing down the enemies toughest opponents and showing them who is "boss".
While it is a common sight to see all Blood Bowl players let out roars, shouts and screams, Gorgutz makes himself stand out with the deafening WAAAGH battle cry. When his team hears this, all are embroiled into a blood frenzy and Nuffle have mercy on their opponents when this occurs.
****
Recently Gorgutz has managed to greatly improve his melee skills. Gorgutz was always surprisingly agile for a Black Orc, capable of dodging incoming blows from the enemy but now he has also managed to gain more advanced hand to hand skills beyond simply "Krumpin 'eads". As such Gorgutz has become both a formiddable figure in dishing out the pain and also enduring even the fiercest of attackers.
Druzgob is not very bright even when compared to other Orcs. However, just like his fellow Black Orcs, Druzgob easily makes up for this with a titanic frame and immense bulk.
It is in the Orc's nature to seek out the hardiest of foes to test their mettle but Druzgob is more conservative. While yes he too enjoys a good scrap like any other member of his species, Druzgob takes the sport extremely serious, even more so than the other Black Orcs. As such he can be heard barking out commands to his fellows, telling them where to go and what to do.
Fortunately for the rest of the team these "orders" tend to be ignored as most of the time its Druzgob ordering a fellow player to grab him the Orca Cola he left on the bench or to "Gerrof my pitch cuz you smell!" Not to mention his booming voice is quickly silenced as an enemy player generally ends up attacking him at this point. As such he is also hated by the rest of the team, bar his fellow Black Orcs whom are the only members of the team he acknowledges in a positive light.
****
Druzgob always held an unusual obsession with "improving" his armour in any way he could. With the incredibly dangerous environment which is the Open League, this obsession was pushed past its limit. Druzgob has managed to fit almost an entire extra foot of steel plating he has managed to win on the Blood Bowl pitch and now is a titanic figure to behold. His armour too is strong enough to endure all but the most fiercest of attacks. Unfortunately no one has had the confidence to point out some gaping holes in his protective gear, ones large enough for any sharp object or talons could easily turn Druzgob's day very unpleasant.
Sporting a scarred and worn face, Grothmog is for all intents and purposes, the scariest of the Head Krushas. None quite know how it happened, some say that it was after a fight with a Troll who's vomit managed to melt most of his face. Others suggest it was after a Dark Elf attempted to assassinate him with a carved blade during a match. Regardless Grothmog is easily the most recognisable of the team and is a crude reminder of the other dangers of the Blood Bowl field besides death.
As for Grothmog himself, he is probably the most normal member, if you can use that term for an Orc. In fact, beyond his rather frightening features, Grothmog enjoys nothing more than sitting down and enjoying a nice beer after a match. As such he is also the most approachable of the team and has also landed a starring role in the upcoming movie: Green Monsters from Mars.
*****
In recent events, Grothmog has finally managed to inflict a single casaulty in twenty games. While the blitzers and linemen obviously acknowledge the hard work he puts into holding the line, his fellow black orcs cannot help but notice his less than impressive head count. While nothing specific has been reported or heard, there is a vicious rumour going around that Grothmog could very well be a member of the Elven Literary Club in Altdorf university. Being both an organisation associated with Elves and something involving stimulating and expanding your mind, the Black Orcs are far from impressed of this news. Grothmog had nothing to say on the matter.
***Career Highlights
Grothmog managed to survive an attempt on his life during a match against a Necromantic team. While everyone on the pitch in Blood Bowl is out to terrorize, maim and indeed kill each other, Grothmog had the misfortune of having a hitman in the crowd take a shot at him. At the start of the second half and with a loud crack which echoed through the stadium, Grothmog was laid low. Fortunately for him his extra thick plates on his helmet managed to keep the Orc in one piece and he was merely knocked out. The culprit unfortunately managed to evade the authorities and the search still continues.

An immense Orc even for a blitzer, Bobog is a ferocious player on the pitch and also has the second highest body count on his team. While rumours have been going around that he is using some kind of illegal potion or magic, Bobog had nothing to say other than to fracture the skull of several journalists interviewing him, our own included. Regardless of his source of great stature and strength, Bobog has proven to be an incredible addition to the team, facing down some of the most terrifying players on the field, even rampaging minotaurs and winning!
***
Bobog is the first member of the team to reach Star player status. His ferocity and blood thirst is only matched by his immense size. While his brute strength is slightly less of that of a Black Orc, Bobog's hitting power greatly outmatches them, both with his habit to hit anyone he is striking "In da squishy bits" but also to leap on top of them to ensure they are dead.

While Snagrog and his Black Orcs may hold an iron grip over team leadership, it is Ruzgrim and his Blitzers whom hold the team's co-ordination together. There is no doubt that if it were not for the Black Orc's solid wall of muscle, the Head Krushas' defense and offense would struggle, but it is Ruzgrim and his Blitzers who are the killer players who take down any player who gets through.
Ruzgrim himself may not be as big as his Black Orc counterparts, but he is significantly more agile and if his track record is anything to go by, he certainly packs a punch! While the Black Orcs are too busy scorning and dismissing his fellows, Ruzgrim takes time to get to know the remainder of his team, be it his fellow blitzers or the linemen. As such, Ruzgrim is the "brains" behind the muscle which is Snagrog, as he instructs the rest of the team what their job is before the match. Due to Orc's poor memory, such reminders are critical to the team's success.
Ruzgrim too is no slouch, and he is generally seen behind the the rest of the team giving orders and telling them where to position. If any opposing player manages to get through, it is he who intercepts them and ensures they stay down. While certainly not the boss, he is a key figure in the Head Krusha's success.
Zogoth got his title "Da Crusha" from his old wrestling career in the OFF (Orc Fighting Federation). Reputed for breaking the rules of fair play and brutally murdering any of his opposition, despite instructions to do otherwise, Zogoth was quickly booted out of the Federation. Unfortunately this did little to stop Zogoth's murderous streak. In fact this made it worse as Zogoth started ambushing and beating up locals around Middenheim. Unfortunately for Zogoth, he eventually met his match when trying to flatten {Read: Step on} a poor Goblin whom he had caught in an alley.
The Goblin fled through the streets but found itself cornered. Zogoth was about to crush the tiny Greenskin until he heard a rumbling behind him. Before he knew it Zogoth was in the apothecaries and had been told a Troll had struck him from behind.
During this time, Zogoth was recruited by the "Puny Humie" known as Geralt Yivaril into the Head Krushas. Since then Zogoth has found a medium with which to vent his violent impulses. Unfortunately this also means he is even more wilder than ever, littering the streets with bloody and battered bodies. The Head Krusha's recently formed legal team has its work cut out for them.
****
It seems Zogoth's ever violent nature has managed to pay off outside of a good morning exercise with the local authorities. He has found a talent both in dexterity and ball carrying making him an ample figure in the Krushas offensive play. Unfortunately for Gorbash, his position has now been supplanted by Zogoth, something the Blitzer is less than discreet about much to Gorbash's displeasure.
Arzhag is the least imposing of the Head Krushaz blitzers, but he is still a fierce opponent in his own right. Arzhag is normally seen alongside Bobog waiting for an opportunity to blast a gap open in the enemy ranks. Unfortunately by the time the slow witted fellow has seen an opportunity, one of the other blitzers has already taken the initiative and flattened the supposed target. As such Arzhag is in fact forced to simply enter the mid field scrum, both at a chance to rack up the body count but also to stop himself from going mad with all of his fellow kill-stealers.

Gorbash is the replacement of Badruk, the team's first thrower. While he is just as weedy and small framed as his predecessor, Gorbash has proven to be quite the worthy replacement. In fact, in his first game he scored a touchdown which is pretty impressive considering how Badruk normally lost the ball while holding it.
Gorbash is still seen with disdain by his fellow Orcs but has found some comradeship in the Goblin Wolbum. However since Wolbum's untimely death, Gorbash was set aside with grief. Fortunately these feelings lasted for only a few moments thankfully, and now he has found a fellow partner in the kicker "Da Git" who is also universally despised.
Simply known as Git or Da Git for his git-like retorts to Snagrog and his fellow team-members, Da Git has proven to be both a source of animosity and ire amongst the Head Krushas. Signed up at the last minute, Da Git has done little overall on the team except for line of scrum duty on defense but it is only recently he has found his niche.
No one on an Orc team is willing to take up any role which does not involve beating someone senseless or knocking them about with their fists, but Da Git having managed to retrieve a large set of red boots, has designated himself the team's kicker.
Kickers are universally hated amongst the more aggressive teams, the Orcs included and thus this has also made Da Git even more unpopular amongst his team mates. It has also garnered him a few new names far too obscene to be noted here. Suffice to say, they are all of a very unpleasant nature.
