He was picked on the first round of the draft and he delivered on that promise with an astounding performance against Itching Scratch. He first delivered a great hit on a poor lineman and then followed it up with a great counter-block against Tulok, their rookie gutter runner. Both hits left their targets unable to continue playing. He didn't leave it at that but went on to also score a touchdown and then display great ball-handling skills as he picked the ball up and then handed it to his teammate Fastgust for the tie-breaking touchdown. With an opening performance like this, only sky seems the limit.

Fans wondered what Mist could do to follow up such a great opening: could he keep up the high standard that he set for himself? With three highlight reel hits on the 21 Leap Street team he instantly silenced all speculation about his ability. He is for real and intent on carving a name for himself in the sport.

His rampage continued in his third match, against the Norse team Das Booty. First he scored a touchdown in the first half and then following it up with a great hit on their QB that left him unable to continue, snagging the ball and scoring yet another touchdown. He was close to a hat trick on the first half, but sadly he wasn't fast enough and stumbled on the endzone with the ball. For him, sky seems to be the limit.

There doesn't seem to be a match or opponent that gives Mist pause. He again delivered an outstanding performance against Darketti that left 2 of their players unable to continue in the match. This led to him being singled out by their opponent and he was stabbed with a concealed knife around the middle of the second half, but luckily after catching his breath he returned to the pitch to lay the groundwork for the final goal.

Finally in his fifth match for the team did opponent's find a way to stop Mist from smashing his way through the match. They simply gathered a huge group of players and kicked him after he fell after a heroic attempt at stealing the ball from their blocker. As the crowd cheered he was carried away on a stretcher with no signs of life visible on his still body. Thankfully for him and the team the team apothecary managed to get him back on his feet after a fashion, literally bringing him back from death's door. Will he be the same in his next outing? He swears so, but many are wondering: how much of the Breeze is still left in him after such a blow?

Mist silenced all unbelievers and returned with a performance that left both fans and sports writers speechless. Although the agility and leaps of the Crazy Flying Skinks proved to be too much for the team to carry home the win, Mistbreeze left several bodies lying around the pitch with great hits on their star blitzer and one of their linemen that left them unable to continue. After a rookie season like this, there are only two ways his story can end: in superstardom or in a brutal death. Either way, fans are eagerly waiting to see his next performance.

Although his performance was overshadowed a bit by his fellow wardancer's spectacular showing, Flashfire had a great opening on both offense and defense that ended up earning him the MVP for the match. Fans are eagerly betting on whether he first ends up on the highlight reel for a touchdown or for a great hit.

With just over half the fans voting for a touchdown for Flash in a poll he decided he can't disappoint either side of the debate and said as much in the pre-match interview. In a brutal match against 21 Leap Street he delivered on his promise with both a touchdown and a brutal hit that left a player unable to continue. Only he knows whether he thought this would actually silence the debate, but it didn't work. Now the question bothering the fans is whether he is more of a hitter than a scorer.

With Mist out of most of the match against Peace and Love Freaks the match was always going to be an uphill climb. Thankfully the team could rely on their other wardancer to pick up some of the slack, delivering a crushing blow against an opposing beastman that left him unable to continue in the match. Sadly neither that hit nor his other tricks on the field were able to create quite the same fire in either the crowd or the team than Mist and the match was well and truly lost.

The scoreboard is not entirely honest in this case as the match wasn't as clearly won by the Crazy Flying Skinks as the scoreboard looks like. It was a serious of sad mistakes and critical errors that led to the team suffering such a fate, but even after a three game losing streak fans are hopeful that the team can turn it around led by Mist and Flash. Flash has been playing steadily better after the match against Peace and Love Freaks and continued to deliver in this game with an important touchdown.

Not to be outdone by his teammate Fastgust, Freewhiff delivered the goods with an excellent catch followed by a speedy run up the field all the way to the endzone. This opening left more questions than it answered though: was it just an answer to his fellow catcher's delivery in the season opener or was it a challenge requiring a further answer? With an answer in the same game from Fast, it appears this competition has further twists and turns before it is over.

After a lackluster performance against Das Booty that saw him left without a single touchdown things could only get better for Freewhiff. And boy did they get better, as he ran a ridiculous gauntlet of Darketti players to score a goal in the final minutes of the second half, sprinting into the endzone on his last legs. The fact that this feat didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things is secondary to the confidence boost this must have given him.

With a largely inconsequential performance against Peace and Love Freaks, the confidence he had built against Darketti seemed to be waning. Fans had already written him out as the one who will remain in Gust's shadow when he came with a showing that left even seasoned journalists aghast: After scoring an important touchdown in the first half of the game he smashed one of the Crazy Flying Skinks linemen into the dirt in the second half with such force that the player never recovered and had to be carried off the pitch. Nobody could see this coming, except maybe him and now fans are betting on his next victim right after placing bets on when he will score next.

After a largely lackluster opening game fans were doubtful whether Fastgust would be able to pull himself together and create something on the pitch he suddenly ended up with the ball after a great play by fellow linemen left him open. Mistbreeze saw his chance and after blitzing through the Skaven lines he handed the ball off right in Fastgust's waiting arms. He didn't delay for a moment and immediately ran for the endzone scoring the decisive touchdown in the closing moments of the second half.

Coming into the second game the weight of expectations was squarely on the team's other catcher, Freewhiff who had missed out on scoring in the season opener. He delivered the goods, turning the heat back on Fast, but he wasted no time scoring a new goal and putting him back in the lead for scoring. He was surprisingly confrontational in the post-match interview, throwing the gauntlet in front of his team-mate and asking him to try to score over half the goals he will score during the season. Thankfully the coach knows, that a bit of friendly rivalry never hurt anyone and fans are already placing bets on who will end up on the losing side of history.

With yet another final touchdown in a game, Fast keeps racking the points, even though this time it wasn't going to be enough to win the game against Peace and Love Freaks. Still, training in agility and careful sidestepping will surely be useful in future matches, he swore in the post-match interview. It remains to be seen whether that holds true.

Getting the MVP of the match was small consolation to poor Fastgust, after both a loss for his beloved team and after tripping while making a dodge carrying the ball. To add insult to injury the team never recovered the ball after he dropped it and his mistake resulted in the Crazy Flying Skinks scoring. Furthermore he landed on his head with such force, that he shattered his collarbone into bits so tiny that the team apothecary could do nothing but shake his head in disgust. This has fueled much speculation about him perhaps retiring from the team, but with the team in such dire straits it is, for now, looking unlikely.

Pass
Leader (20k)
The word best describing Quickshot is consistent. Every pass he has attempted has been on the money. Whether the opposing end can actually catch the ball is anybody's guess, but it is also not his problem. He is in the game to throw great passes, that is what he is paid for, and as far as he is concerned, that is what he will keep on doing.

3 matches, 5 completed passes, 6 accurate ones. There seems to be no stopping Quickshot from throwing those passes, not even the fact that his team is supposed to be on the defense. He seems to possess an uncanny ability to be where the team can hand the ball off to him, waiting for the correct moment to send the pass flying down the pitch with pin-point accuracy.

With the team on a three game losing streak there aren't many players on the team who aren't struggling. But in such crucibles is the mettle of men and elves tested and Quickshot has continued to be the always dependable, always trustworthy quarterback the team has desperately needed. What this crucible has changed, though, is the fact that he has finally decided to be a bit more active in that role, leading his team from the back with curt orders instead of just throwing his trademark bullet passes down the field. He could well be the leader the team desperately requires right now.

It appears that his touchdown against 21 Leap Street was a sign of things to come, for he turned out a great performance against Das Booty, holding down their yhetee-led offense and then skipping through their lines when a hole was opened. With such a strong all-round performance he easily bagged the MVP of the match.

He bagged yet another MVP for the match in a hotly contested bout against Peace and Love Freaks. Branch thanked the jury for the honor, but at the same time commented on how it is a small consolation both for the team after a loss and for himself personally after such a heavy hit took him out of the game for several minutes.

After a brutal match against Darketti everything seemed lost when the loyal fans of Marauders took to the pitch to protest against the slight they saw was committed by the Darketti players as they laughed at poor Briskleaf as he was killed during the match after throwing a block at an opposing lineman and was beyond even the help of the long-suffering team apothecary. It was this momentary respite that fueled a resurgence and a face-saving single goal when Strangeroot ran for the ball, took it and completed a beautiful pass to Freewhiff. While the insane dodging performed by Freewhiff was undoubtedly a more capable show of skill, the jury decided to hand the MVP of the match to him for showing such determination at a brutal time in the match.

After an admittedly appropriate slow start, Strongbranch finally made the highlight reel in his third match for the team by delivering a brutal hit on one of the poor journeymen who had joined Crazy Flying Skinks for the match. He smashed him over the head with such force, that he apparently broke his back, leaving him a sorry pile on the ground. Fans are hoping that this hit will be followed by several in the coming games.
