Born in the far off wastes of Zharr Nagrund, Grofnab Skullcrusher longed for far away lands. He dreamed of rolling green hills and laughing happy people of all races, shapes, and sizes. He longed to see smiling wistful faces looking back at him... and crushing them all under the mighty boot heel that is the Chaos Dwarf army! Alas, Grofnab's flat feet kept him from serving this glorious cause, but when he came upon this hapless semi-pro Blood Bowl team, he not only gave them his name, but his purpose as well: Crush all opponents beneath the mighty boot that is Grofnab's Horribles!

When Nigel Rumpsmacker joined Grofnab's Horribles, the team taylor who embroidered the number on his jersey mistakenly gave Nigel a number reserved for a Chaos Dwarf Blocker. Grofnab Skullcrusher, infuriated by the impudent wearing of a Chaos Dwarf number by a lowly Hobgoblin, vowed to make sure the "inferior sniveling weakling" died on the turf. As such, he assigns Nigel the most dangerous and harrowing assignments imaginable. So far Nigel has survived unscathed. In fact in his first game playing for the Horribles, he scored a touchdown!

"Perhaps the pressure of death is just what it takes to keep the cretins in line." Says Bull Centaur Nusil Doomhoof.

Is this an omen of things to come for Nigel Rumpsmacker? If so he may well end up one of the most talented Hobgoblin players on the turf today.

Devastating pass rusher turned scoring sensation, Nusil Doomhoof is the spiritual leader of Grofnab's Horribles. He provides the drive and determination that makes the other horribles tick.

"If it wasn't for Nusil, we'z wouldn't be where we is today," says Hobgoblin Gorduz Paintail, "In fact he kicked me all the wayz here!"
