As is tradition with the hatching, upon the cusp of a new brood breaking free of their shells, Priests of the Fire Lizard select the largest egg and toss it into the lava that runs through the veins of the mountain.
Most perish, however mighty Tzagor is one of the few to survive this ritual. He was
Born of Fire.
Following the
victory over the Dawi-Zharr of Yantai, the slavers took Tzagor prisoner and shipped him back to the Yantai slave markets. With his gaolers underestimating Tzagor's strength, and with the assistance of fellow captives an escape was won.
Tzagor was now Burning Free.

The Smoking Caverns of Ualun are a dangerous place, but revered for the strength of visions and communion that can be acheived with the Fire Lizard lurking at the heart of the volcano.
Tzatza has spent more time in the haze filled depths than any other member of the team. He has final authority in all team matters, and questioning his judgement brings mortal peril.
Killed by a fireball in game 2 vs the Swallowers, but revived by the apothecary.

Goquax is the spiritual leader of the group. As a Priest of the Fire Lizard he is responsible for selecting appropriate offerings to honour the Heart of the Mountain.
Skill: Tackle
Chiccitza is Goquax's acolyte, and is charged with the duties of the Keeper of the Embers. Carrying embers as they travel provides a link back to the Fire Lizard, even when they roam far from Ualun's Volcanos. This makes Chiccitza an extremely important member of the team when away from home, and without him the group would have to cut their expedition short.
Skill: Grab
Ashes are important, as sometimes an offering can not be returned to the Volcano immediately. When faced with such a situation the offering is dedicated to the Fire Lizard with a burning ceremony, held under the supervision of the Master of Sacrifice and the Keeper of Embers. It is imperative that the ashes from such a ceremony are protected and returned to the Heart of the Mountain when the opportunity is avaiable. Only the staunchest of warriors are selected as Defenders.
Zlatchicc is the second Defender to serve with the Burning Talon, after Gormundi was struck down by the fury of the Fire Lizard during the contest with the Swallowers of Saarth.

Ankhali is of the Rock, a part of Ualun that has seen repeated lava flows from ongoing eruptions. The Rock is blessed with the highest frequency of flamestrikes as the Volcano vents and spits it's fury upon the chosen.
It is the Rock that the Burning Talon have selected as the location of their home ground.

Inzigor was one of three skinks freed by Tzagor in their escape from the slave markets.
Inzigor had not been a slave long arriving only a few months before Tzagor was taken. It was long enough for him to develop a hatred for chains and the skink raged throughout his captivity. His anger still burns.

Chitza was one of three skinks freed by Tzagor in their escape from the slave markets.
Chitza spent years as a slave, losing his tongue years ago as punishment for his insubordination. For Chitza this was a mutilation like no other, crippling one of his keenest senses and stripping him of anything but the most basic communication.
He learnt to be stealthy and patient, watching and waiting until the time was right. With Tzagor as a new arrival it was clearly time and it was Chitza that stole the key, letting Tzagor commence his rampage.
