It is said that in The Epic of Gilgamesh Utnapishtim is tasked by Enki to abandon his worldly possessions and create a giant ship to be called The Preserver of Life.

He was also tasked with bringing his wife, family, and relatives along with the craftsmen of his village, baby animals and grains. The oncoming flood would wipe out all animals and humans that were not on the ship.

Now his spirit lives as a lycanthrope and he has a lot to prove, not being part of the inaugural line-up.

By some unholy unimaginings his spirit now dwells within a man driven mad by his father's light when full, becoming an enraged beast. Unspeakably with a love for ball sports.

In The epic of Gilgamesh it is said he was born within the walls of Uruk and later became its king.

Now, from random pieces sewn together, his spirit lives in the fleshy creation, ready to pound some players into the dirt.

It is said in The Epic of Gilgamesh that Gilgamesh and Enkidu set forth on a quest to destroy the giant Humbaba.

Now his spirit unrests in this fleshy creation and it is angrier than ever.

Sometimes animosity dwells between the two Flesh Golems, old rivalries die hard after all, yet most often the prefer destroying living flesh rather than dead.

Enkidu, close ally of Gilgamesh, accompanied him on quests to slay the giant of the Ceder Forest, Humbaba.

Later he was overcome by a deadly illness put upon him by the Gods for interfering with their will. Yet his spirit remains and follows his old compatriot to battles and sport games alike.

Legend has it Siduri once tried to convince Gilgamesh to give up his ideas of immortality and live a normal life of simple pleasures.

Obviously she failed. And, ironically she herself now is immortal. Her love of Gilgamesh remains, however, and she happily assists him in his quest for Blood Bowl stardom.

Shamhat tamed the wild man Enkidu through her sexual prowess. Sometimes being referred to as a whore created a built up hatred inside her.

Now immortal as a ghoul, she insists on venting her rage upon the living.

Often seen following her old lover to games of Blood Bowl, her primary focus is handling balls. Pardon the pun.
