Ivanovich was the man they brought in to replace TCO in the last year of high school football as the primary damage blitzer as TCO taught him everything he knew about blood, bowl and more blood.
The guy was a natural and managed to keep most of the team together for the first season after school with Vincenzo, but his joyful nature just wasn't the same as the dour, calculating and often cold TCO.
Ivanovich enjoyed the blood part so much of the bowl when he was finished in that career, fully healthy due to his bull like spirit charging through any possible injuries as a lad decided it was time to serve the realm.
The baron knew this man was a hard fighter and would fight to his last for his charge, he had the makings of a fine great-swordsmen, the only thing as the baron saw when he took to the field was the red mist that descends upon Ivanovich, he attacks all before him with blade fists and most of all his head.
For some reason he favors the flying headbutt over all other take down moves on the pitch, when he executed this technique charging into a black orc big boss in a small battle on the cities edge and laid him low in one, he was dubbed 'Death-Nutter' by his fellow gladiators where-as his one time great-sword companions hate him as his reckless charge could of put the baron in danger, but Ivanovich know who he can drop and doesn't think twice.
While TCO was the main man for causing blood-spatters, Gregorvich could put a hole in any line with his thunderous charge, though as a youngster these charges was often followed by a vile vapour trail from Gregorvich, it was alsmot like he was rocket powered so the boys dubbed him 'Thundercharge' for the flatulence.
Gregorvich was an honest man, hardworking and caring for his friends and family, of all the Gladiators he is the on that doesn't belong in the arena, he was framed for a crime he didn't commit.
With his thievery becoming widespread Roberchek knew he had to finger someone else, and who better than the goody two-shoes Gregorvich, the captains favourite as he always gave 110% at everything be it training, or helping a team-mate.
He decided to rob a jewellers and place stolen earrings in Gregorvichs house where he knew the wife would find them.
Finding them the next day she confronted Gregorvich about cheating as he claimed he had never seen them before, things got out of hand quickly with his wife turning violent and the neighbours calling the city watch. They noticed the jewellry from the descriptions of the vendor and arrested him at once.
With no alibi and no other possible culprits known of, Gregorvich was doomed to die in the arena, untill his old pal TCO came back into town.

Karl and Kurt where the two steadfast blitzers of the high school team, they where a dynamic duo to be reckoned with all ways getting into the thick of the fight side by side, guarding each other from all foes attacks.
Even after school they stayed as a tag-team threat, taking places in any kind of fighting contest or doing mercenary bodyguard work to earn their keep and fill their bellies with meat and ale.
It was during one such mission, escorting a lesser noble through the outskirts of Grimsby and back to a trade caravan route till his retinue arrived from the next city to take over, this was later to be found to be an ambush.
The terrible two as they became known where separated straight away with a 2 pronged attack, Karl left without his best friend and fighting partner didn't know what to do, he panicked at first then regained his wits and starts laying into the attacking foes.
Alas it is too late and the noble has already fallen and they know they either die here or possibly face execution for failing to guard their charge. Yet they brave on fighting like the madmen from their bloodbowl youth, they end up back to back over the nobles corpse, determined to at least protect him in death. The last of the enemies to fall, was taken down by the clothesline technique Karl developed on the bloodbowl pitch, his sword had fallen from his hand and he was determined to take one more down, and that he did with a neck-braking clothesline.
The enemy realise too late what has happened and they soon flee knowing the main deed is done, on returning back to the city they are soon placed under arrest and brought before the Baron, they tell their story but he is doubtful as they are mercenaries of the town, instead of execution he sentences them to the pits.
There they stayed a tag-team threat, until TCO returned to rescue the 'Boys of Mayhem'

Vincenzo was the star quaterback and vice captain in the glory days of high school bloodbowl, sure it was softer then but they had fun all the same.
Vincenzo and the head coach only known as the_cursed_one or TCO now, made for a lightning team in those days, the accuracy of Blythe with the deadliness of TCO made them an unstoppable team.
This was all before TCO left to go make a name for himself in the big leagues, after that the guys lost their focus and couldn't get it together so all stopped playing one after another.
Vincenzo was the last to give up the game, keeping his killer accuracy till the match he missed due to being arrested on account of murdering Sir Fredrick of Grimsby with a pistol at 100 paces just because he didnt like the colour of his cloak, or so he says...
Vincenzo never really expressed much of his feelings so TCO knows that there was a deeper reason but doesn't probe as long as Vincenzo keeps his head in the game and his eye needle sharp.
