Aleksi started out as the most talented ball holder and passer. However, he soon found out that he was viciously attacked by mean looking players as soon as he had the ball in his hand - a thing noone had told him of.
Upon realising this, which took a while as Aleksi is naturally not the brightest, he spend some extra time in the Kislevite Tundra to train his physical abilities (intellectual ones would be far beyond him).
Surprisingly, his efforts made him one of the teams most valuable allround players.
Aleksi is renowned for being Bolgosgrads most unsuccessful patato farmer.

Wild rumours exist about Francz Glaszenko's pre-Blood Bowl career. Some say that he was a freelance mutant hunter in the northern parts of Kislev others even tell that he was one of the best "Cleaners" employed the Tsar's secret service. So his past life will properly be a mystery forever, his performances on the pitch will certainly not.
Obviously Francz has developed a strong aversion aginst anything big and mutant and he is ruthlessly efficent when put on the field, earning him the nickname "Meister Proper" by fans and team mates alike.
So far he had seriously injured a Minotaur and a Rat Ogre and even killed a Minotaur.
When asked what he has against those Big Guys which are so beloved by the BB fans he replied:
