Gristlejaw has been in the Team Captain Herr Hausen's shadow for two seasons, barely managing a touchdown and casualty apiece. In the Season 4 match against champion team the Quickslithers, the stoic skeleton managed to be in the right place at the right time for a late game pass play, giving the Dead Doornails the win.

After the game, Herr Hausen seemingly gave his fellow wight a congratulatory clap on the back. Most spectators who noticed the gesture thought little of it, even if it was an uncharacteristically thoughtful thing for a soulless undead to do.

The next day, the coach noticed Gristlejaw was making his cuts and jinks far more sharply during the morning practice...

Now acting as the team captain of the Dead Doornails.

While most of the Emo Demolition Squad managed to limp off the field after their match with the Dead Doornails, lineman Sullivan decided to stay on the pitch, waving off the team apothecary with his last breath, succumbing to the bleakness inside him and finally leaving this world of pain and suffering behind.

It didn't work.

Dragged back into the world of the unliving by the team necromancer, Sullivan's outlook on death is much the same as his outlook on life was.

Formerly playing as a Blitzer for Za UnderWarudo, Stairway to Skaven met his end at the hands of Doornails Ghoul Jacque.

Jacque couldn't help but grab a few pieces to gnaw on for the rest of the game, and a few zombies happened to be standing nearby as well - by the time the team necromancer recovered the corpse, several important pieces were missing. Namely, everything from the waist down. The coach refused to pony up for a Skaven corpse to replace the missing limbs and organs, telling the necromancer to do what he could with whatever he could find lying around.

The coach was therefore in not much of a position to say anything when the newly raised Stairway to Skaven trotted/shambled/loped onto the practice field the next morning.

Seifuku-sama was your average dwarf teenager, who was scouted for Dwarfgakuen's high school Blood Bowl team. Until their game against the Dead Doornails, when he came up against the mummy Slotep the Ancient and had his head caved in!

Now he's been raised as a zombie to play for the Dead Doornails, bringing the pep and spirit they never knew they needed. Seifuku-sama, ganbatte!
