Bert Russell is one of the few in the LARPers' Guild who remains somewhat physically active, and his reason for joining was always the joy of being in a place where he is allowed and encouraged to hit other human beings (or orcs, elves or anyone in costume). Bert has therefore been enjoying the Blood Bowl pitch since his very first match.

Nobody knows the name of this silent, sullen stand-in for orcs, gnolls or whatever the monster of the day may be. The more experienced Guild players know only that he has been doggedly playing on since the Guild's inception, never actually rising in rank due to always having to play monsters in his single, increasingly tattered costume. Always denied the stylish armour and graceful moves of the elite, his job has been to lose any fight with a ranking member. Now that the group has taken to Blood Bowl, this strange individual is finally able to hit back and has shown a dark glee in crushing any Elf to get in his way.
