Gianluca is one of the starting 11 members of the Marksmen. Because of his speed, coolness and decent ability with the ball he was initially hired as a catcher. But it did not take take long for Gianluca to find his true calling: running fast at lone opponents and stomp them into the ground. A quick learner, after a mere 10 games he changed from a somewhat shy and tentative player into an aggressive hard-hitting blocker that has no qualms about accidentally "tripping" over opponents that he just smashed down, and coming down on them elbows / knees / skull first.

Coach feels somewhat uncomfortable about this "unelfish" behaviour, but at the same time admits that it helps win games and keep teammates upright. So not too much is said about this.

How such lust for violence came to occur in an elf is a bit of a mistery, but rumours persist amongst his teammates that Gianluca may have some human blood in his ancestry, possibly even some Ogrish blood further down that human line. No-one dares discuss this around Gianluca, so it is expected to remain a mistery, at least until those paparazzi from NAF News Network notice him and decide to start digging into his roots.

2016-05-31 After a particularly brutal game against Lord Eldritch's Elder Riches, the Marksmen were without a thrower. Toto, the extremely accurate starter was dead, as well as Amadeo, his replacement. After a short recuperation period, the Marksmen regrouped and promoted a thrower from the practice squad only known as "Toto Secondo" to the team. Noboby on the team bothered to remember his real name.

However, in his first game "TS" gave the team something to remember, throwing for 4 completions and setting up 4 Touch Downs! This got his teammates' attention! Still feeling slighted, TS now refuses to go by any other name but Toto Secondo and is determined to become the most famous thrower ever.
