Formerly played for a human team, the Mannheim Maladjusted. Was fired after an offhand insult in the middle of a match sent the Ogre into a frenzy amongst his teammates. No action was taken by the referees, but the coach and owners of the Maladjusted sought damages against the Ogre to recoup the losses from having to retire or bury over half the players. The resulting debts and his inability to pay them left Rumbel incarcerated at the Kronigsson mining colony.
"Redthumb" refers to how many of the injured Maladjusted players were planted headfirst into the pitch. While the referee union issued no official reprimands or punishment preventing Rumbel from playing again, the NAF groundskeeper association are by no means overjoyed at his return.

Has lately been preoccupied with the prisoner "New Fish", who has become skilled at avoiding his attentions. Simeath has since put in voluntary hours working in the mines, and the intensive labor plus exposure to Warpstone deposits, has resulted in an uncanny increase in his strength. His companion may have to resign himself to Simeath's strong, but gentle, affections.
46 counts of criminal trespass, 29 counts of larceny, 8 counts of attempted murder, 2 counts of murder.
19 counts of drug trafficking, 5 counts of murder, 6 counts of kidnapping, 37 counts of robbery, 28 counts of larceny.
No previous criminal record. Hired muscle for the game against Hither Slither, where an inmate casualty left the Warden's headcount at the usual 11. Other prisoners kept their mouths shut as the player tried to protest being slapped in irons.
The team has already forgotten his real name. Simeath seems to have taken a liking to him. Hands on "training" has had fruitful results: "New Fish" has become quite deft, and can now skillfully slip through the grasping, seeking fingers of opposing players.
The coach has asked the Warden to develop a training regimen under Simeath's guidance, in the hopes that more players will benefit from his tutelage.
Originally charged on fraud and polygamy, sentence was amended with 5 counts of murder.
105 counts of crimes against nature.
59 counts of petty theft, 24 counts of robbery, 12 counts of attempted murder.

Wortlick has been in the care of the Kronigsson Company for so long, even the Warden doesn't have files on their original criminal records. Rumors abound among the other inmates of its origins, the most popular theory being that Wortlick had never been officially charged with any crimes, but had been living in the Warpstone-laced caves before the Company began its mining operations there. Wortlick itself has no insights to share on the matter, but is unusually agreeable for a Troll, following the simple orders it's given so long as it is kept regularly fed.
65 counts of racketeering, 82 counts of illegal gambling, 5 counts of attempted murder.
Has set themselves up as the prison's resident dealer, smuggling contraband in for anyone who can meet his fee.
16 Counts of petty theft, currently serving 16th consecutive sentence.
