Rattus Maximus has the first casualty in team history, but is very dissapointing in play. His failed WA roll keeps him from scoring in the first half of the game, and he never pushed an opposing player out of bounds. Poor show.
In his second game, his play was even more lacking. Pushed nobody out of bounds, caused no touchdowns, and couldn't even move for 3 turns in the first half.
Vicious played a key role in our 2nd game. His second touchdown sealed the win. Nobody's sure how scoring helped him learn how to hit people better, but there it is.
Manky scored the final touchdown of the 3-0 win in our second game, but more than that he picked up the ball in pouring rain 4 out of 5 times. He was a key contributor, especially since Max was hiding in the KO box all game.
Loopy's 2 touchdown preformance in Uglymugs' opening game propelled us to victory, and we gain our first skilled player. Given the proliferation of Gutter Runners in this tournament, Tackle seemed a wise investment.

Max was a last minute addition to the opening roster, and this scrappy thrower proved to be the glue that held the Uglymugs together in their first game. His completion was the first for the team, and after that rat tripped over his own feet going in to score, Uglymug picked up the ball and scored the first touchdown in team history as well. In turn 8 of the second half, Uglymug also managed to pick up the ball and hand it off for the last second score.
Max spent 15 turns of our second game hiding in the KO box. He refused all 4 opportunities to come back out, preferring to let Johnny Benchwarmer do all the heavy lifting.
