Lore: Local legends tell of a beast that roams the outskirts of Stonemarsh under cover of the mists. They speak its name in hushed whispers, "Bogdrinker". It is believed that the Stonemarsh ground absorbed so much magic that it came to life, insatiably hungry to consume anything with magical energy. Local fishermen claim they have gone to fish in the surrounding bogs only to find them completely drained from the day prior, with only the bones and rotting remnants of fish remaining. Parents tell tales of the beast to local children to keep them from straying too far, and unexplained disappearances are thought to be its doing. Even the Fae fear its presence, avoiding what they dub "Shifting Ground" in fear it is the beast lying in wait.

Lore: Cadeyrn earned the title "Bloodeye" after an encounter with a mighty Fimir where Cadeyrn was the only one to walk away alive. Typically Fimir are able to easily overpower humans and a band had captured many villagers just outside of Stonemarsh. Cadeyrn was part of a group send to protect the villagers and was ambushed traveling between farms. Unarmed, Cadeyrn was able to wrestle the beast until finally able to get it in a lethal chokehold. He did not walk away unscathed however, the Fimir struck a mighty blow that popped the blood vessels in Cadeyrn's right eye, causing it to have a permanent red glow. The locals now claim that his eye carries blood magic, cursing any opponents its gaze focuses on.

Lore: Even among the Fen Guard who are renowned for their size and strength Calactus towers over his counterparts. Some believe he has giant blood in his veins, others claim he was born during an especially potent Fae moon. Whatever the case Calactus' size has become legendary among the citizens of Stonemarsh, matched only by his prowess on the battlefield. Calactus is the personal guardian of Truthsayer Beloghan's cairn, protecting the castle from threats both inside and out.

Lore: Fiona had a nose for nuisance, a trait greatly appreciated by the fae. Her favorite game is to nip the rears of the Stonemarsh farm animals, leading to many broken fences and lost livestock. Her tricks led her to be greatly despised by much of the local population, and eventually she even earned a bounty for herself. Despite this she managed to always stay just out of reach of any villagers who tried to catch her. This elusiveness caught the attention of Truthsayer Beloghan who recruited her to the Mistdwellers, hoping she would be able to avoid opposing players just as well.
