Kemperbad Smashers
Small lad, barely old enough to be allowed to play. The others think him weak and imagines he will get smashed to bits. Ingolf however has learned that nothing beats speed and agility!

The middle son of a Carpenter, Till doesnt have much of a future to look forward to. He has nothing (but his good looks!) to offer a potential bride.
When Hartwin started to build his pitch, Tills farther worked at the site and Till spent his time running around playing with the other boys. Occasionally, girls would hang out around the boys playing. Till got it into his head to try and become a big star so his secret love Linde will notice him...

Gaston has bretonnian roots and has always been considered an outcast amongs the other youths of Kemperbad. Even in a thriving trade city as this, foreigners are not the norm. ¨
But, on the pitch, noone noticed his accent, or his different hair.
On the pitch, he was simply Gaston. Being a 4th son of a wine merchant, he has no family money to look forward to and sees blood bowl as a fun way to use his youth.

Notker is ex military, a real tough fellow. His time in the military has made him slow though. He makes up for that by being more than able to take a beating and still staying on the pitch.

Double: Mighty Blow
Used to hang out around the riverside, pitching in when he could. Helped the rich folks carry their things for instance. He sat up a little food stall when Hartwin was building the pitch, but while his food was shit, he was surprisingly agile, if a bit slow. He got signed for the team with line of scrimage duty in mind, but Aldo has bigger plans...

A local Kemperbad lad who used to make a living keeping the Tavern clear of thugs. Is a bit overweight, but figures that the extra pounds are gonna suit him well in the games.
Update:
Following the teams first game, Gerolf was offered a Pro Contract by Hartwin much to everyones surprise. But on the other hand, it showed that it doesnt take much, and that anyone can make it!
Another one of the local lads who thought the game with the ball looked fun, without having the least clue what a violent sport it is.
He cried after he recieved his first tackle, but was determined not to be on the recieving of those blocks anymore. So is tactic is: Hit them in the face, then consult the tactics.
A local river drunk who was offered a few pieces of gold to stand on the line of scrimage and take a beating a week.
he is surprisingly good at it!
One of the fastest in the sprint on the team, but with his all round skills still prefer to play the middle of the pitch and focus on the blocking game rather than any fancy things with the ball.
Noone really knows his background, he just hung around the pitch as it was built and played along.
Falko loves the beaty of the game. He adores the passing game, and is convinced that the future of blood bowl is in daring passing play over the heads of the opponents. What could be easier?
Before joining Falko liked to compete in town festivals. His favourite contest was the javelin throwing. His unique way of making the javalin rotate in the air is something he has brought along to the pitch, and his way of throwing is proving to be very effective with this type of ball!
A former member of the town guards, he has a natural aura about him that just screams captain.
There have been no official announcemnt yet (We suspect Hartwin means to see who can survieve the first games before naming one), but all the others look to Gernot for directions in times of trouble.
In a land that lacks food, Gangolf has managed to reach 250 pounds and while he has often been teased, noone did when he took a right hammering from Gerolf, and stayed on his feet!
How he got that big, he refuses to say, but its common knowlagde he was a guard on the riverbank, and he has often been suspected of taking his share of the bribes in food, pie in particular.
Too slow for a catcher or a runner, could have been a quaterback, but with the personality of a noodle, no one would listen to him. Instead he focusses on doing his job on the line of scrimage, and his above average agilty is mainly used for getting himself into the right positions.

While Gangolf has his armour from fat, Oliver is all muscle. Sadly he mostly has the ability to take a hit, and has yet to learn to throw a good one, but all in good time.
He workeed in the lumber buisness and got his muscle from hauling logs of wood day in and day out.
Markward is a wierd man. No one in the town really knows him. He leaves early in the morning to go hunting in the forests. Despite them being infested with all sorts of chaos beings, he has yet to be harmed, instead, he comes back looking more fit than when he left.
Often he comes back late at night, hauling sacks of something. The local buisnessmen says of mostly sells them birds or small game like rabbits. Nothing like what those sacks look to contain..
Hartwin had already selected his team when Markward suddenly stepped into the circle and announched that he would play, Hartwin was mesmorized, and before thinking, he accepted Markward on the team..
In all things, Markward seems average, he is decently fast, has some strenght and agility, and his ability to take a hit is more worse than most of his team mates.. but there is just something odd about him..
