Adanse has a quiet, chilling personality, but is one of the most skilled runners around.

Balaatum Arbores has a lot of wood elf in his blood, which the surname implies. On many couriering jobs, Arbores would climb through trees to scout out the paths ahead. Anyone who’s seen Arbores climb through trees can tell you that he’s inhumanly fast. In fact, in many wooded areas, rather than running, he would swing through loose vines and branches to get to his destination.

Briv sailed to Harton at the ripe age of 150 in search of a new life. Briv’s quick reactions and sharp instincts always resulted in him being asked to fetch things from more than dangerous areas (all at a fee of course). His experience is largely unmatched, and he’s eager to see the start of the Couriers’ season.

In the town of Harton, there was a small emporium of sorts, called "Oddend's Odds and Ends." Rinhorst was the son of the owner of this shop, and often times he would have to venture out into unexpected places to find things to restock the shop. His speediness helped him immensely in these situations. The items were then sold for extremely high prices, and the Oddend family made some good profit from this. Eventually, Rinhorst's father had enough money to retire, and so Rinhorst took up a couriering job.

Treytrum joined a guild of assassins at a young age. He made tons of money off this career for years, and became a very experienced assassin. After a while, Treytrum would stay in the guild's headquarters than his actual house, because it was too much of a risk to be seen in public. One night the headquarters was tracked and found by authorities. He managed to escape through a trapdoor quick enough to not be seen. By the end of the night, he was the only assassin left of his guild.

After realizing the magnitude of his previous actions, he sailed off to a small town named Harton to start a new life. He took up a couriering job because he thought it'd be fitting of his skills.

Olander and Artendor became very good friends after their fathers established a lumberjacking business together. They would run the freshly cut wood out through the town on wheelbarrows at the end of the days to the citizens who had ordered. Olander always was kind of short-winded, so after all the wood had been delivered, he’d sit in the wheelbarrow and let Artendor push him back.

Unlike the rest of the Couriers, Turklet Gobman didn't actually grow up in Harton. He was just an overweight, elven free agent. He was paid a measly sum, and was promised more if he slimmed down before the beginning of the season. Begrudgingly, he did, but the money-lacking team couldn't come through on their end of the deal.

Slymnor Spjornsberg grew up in the city of Afnbel. He was born to a very poor upbringing, and his mother almost totally relied on him to steal meals for the day. Fortunately, Slymnor was born with the gift of speed. Life was like this for a few years, until Slymnor had enough. He knew his crimes would catch up to him at some point, so he went on one last pilfering, kissed his mother goodbye, and ran.

After a 4-day journey, Slymnor arrived in the humble town of Harton. He changed his name to Rinsado Earthenwind, and started a new life, working as a courier.

Torjyn's parents were murdered when he was only just learning to walk. Scared and unsure of what to do, Torjyn ran through the whole town of Harton, getting tons of attention from the townsfolk, but the murderers were never caught. On his 18th birthday, Torjyn, living with his cousins, vowed to find whom'st'd've killed his parents.

On a casual, leisurely walk one day, the Elwether family came upon a sight hard to believe. A small elven child, hanging on the branch of a tree. They climbed into the tree and managed to coax the child down, and like any good high elf citizen, adopted him. Once Ortzil was old enough to talk, he said that his only memory of the was a brown bear about 5 feet behind him.

At this point, he figured running had got him far enough, so decided to seek a similar career.
