After seeing his friend Sparish Helena trip and die in the teams debut match, something changed inside young Yaron. His head still in a daze from what he just saw, he managed to kill a Nurgle Bloater while on defense. That was the moment he decided to live on and fight for his fallen comrade, vowing to become the strongest, fastest, best player in the entire world in order to honour the memory of his friend.

After being asked to play for the team along with his friend Kevin Bluefist for a one off game, Aaron Darklightning finally saw his chance for greatness. He quickly injured an opponent to show what he could do and the coach was impressed. Kevin even managed to injure an enemy, and the coach knew he made the right choice asking these boys to play. The opposing coach conceded the game a mere 6 turns in and before the lads could demonstrate their other skills the game was over. This left the coach with a dilemma. He only had enough cash in the treasury to hire one of them, even though he wanted (needed) both. He chose Aaron, promising to hire Kevin as soon as he got the funds, and officially knighted him into the order, and onto the team. He was given the name Aronis to mark his induction onto the team, and thus, his blood bowl career begins.

Another Journeyman that exceeded expectations and joined the team. Vincent Weakwing came onto the team with 2 other journeymen eager to prove themselves and join the exalted ranks of the Riders. Vincent managed to smash the hip of Sinkarlas Chaexina early on in the second half of a brutal game against coach Klazam's Oak Crest Flyers. Proving both his strength and his ability to assist his teammates, Vincent was offered a spot on the team. After accepting and successfully undergoing the initiation rites, as all members must do, he was given his new name, Vilrath Strongwing. Weakwing was a name of dishonour given to his great-great-grandfather, and a shame the family had carried for generations. This was not fitting for a member of the Riders, and a new name was bestowed upon him, one which signified his abilities but also kept a part of his family herritage. The time of the Weakwings is over, the time of the Strongwings has just begun!
