Son to Duke Siegfried von Acorn and next in succession in the house of the Fluffy Tail, Gerard always answered to what ever duty befell upon him. He was given the great honor to join the 4th holy crusade against the wicked seagulls that lived just around the corner from the old oak in the park. Two days later he finally defeated his enemy and returned home to bask in praise and glory. But upon arrival, the oak had been cut down and the park been bulldozed to make place for an expansion of the neighboring mall. Without a home and family he started drifting until he came across the ragtag Garden Critters.
Gerard is as passionate about restoring the house of the Fluffy Tail as he is about housing rights.

ButterBall was working as a ship rat for most of his life. Sailing the seas and fighting cats that the humans foolishly brought on the ship, made for an exciting life. A little bit too exciting it was shown. ButterBall developed sever alcoholism due to extensive grog drinking that took place almost every night at the ship. This took a toll on his health and caused him to seek medical attention. He was however stopped at the hospital entrance and chased away with a broom stick. Simply because he was a rat and not a human (and lacked health insurance). ButterBall is still battling his alcoholism. And now together with Garden Critters, he wants to help others to get the help he never got himself.

Poncho was sold as a slave when he was a baby. His masters gave him the slave name Poncho, put him in a cage and treated him as a circus freak. He was overfed to a degree that he developed both hip and back problems, and the "games" that the masters' kids forced him to participate in resulted in severe PTSD. He was able to run away one day when the masters forgot to lock his cage. Now as a free soul he stumbled over Garden Critters, which he quickly joined.
Poncho fights for the freedom of all critters... and to loose his overweight.
