Working security for the Heror brothers always seemed a little redundant as they could certainly look after themselves. Padankh guessed they just couldn't be everywhere at the same time.
He got very good at ominously looming in doorway and was always a little surprised when people just handed over bags of coins without so much as a mutter.
If he had a consiousness now he'd probably be quite please that his role now simply to just loom over people whilst Isetasht and Saayt get about their business

Luxo had seen a few of the workers heading up into the roofing of the foundry. Never one for independent thought he blindly followed.
Who was this guy's talking about powering people? Corrective burger-ing sounded good though, he'd always thought the canteen could be improved.
Hmmm... it's getting a wobbly up here.....*splash*

Phar had seen the rag tag bunch Khod-el-Fis was bringing together to represent the great city of Mahrak. It needed more to create a true sense of fear. Casting his glare across the streets he saw what he wanted amongst the shuffling skeletons - the unmistakable frame of Genten Apokis.
A giant of a man, Genten was famous for his sporting prowess as superstar of the formative Mahrak BloodBowl league by day and as a professional wrestler by night. Quickly he was directed to the nearest goldworks to get him prepared as another figurehead for the team

Tabashimen was a lowly metal worker in one of Mahrak's many gold foundries. A simple man with simple pleasure. He loved his work, the rhythmic thud of hammer on metal sending him into an almost unbreakable trance. Time would glide by as he stood pummeling away.
Tabashinmen was working as usual as when Nagash's great ritual decimated Nehekhara. As the dead awoke, Tabashimen's skeleton arose to silence in the foundry. Without the pounding beat of steel on gold, he was disorientated and crashing into one of the giant crucibles of molten gold spilling it across the floor. There he lay until....*Clank clank clank*
That noise stirred something deep down in Tabashinmen. As he stood he saw the Golden Hosts striding forward.
*Clank clank clank*.......'Let's that sound be my guide again'

The Heror brothers were famous (or should that be infamous) throughout Mahrak. They were enterprising souls, seizing on a simple business plan - where there are rich people, there is a need for 'security'!
Saayt was always the sneakier of the brothers. You wouldn't miss Isetasht. As he came towards you the light would quickly be eclipsed by his bulk. Saayt was different, by the time you knew he was around you'd be busy looking at the floor thinking "so that's what my internal organs look like".
In death Saayt still have a knack for popping up where he's not expected and wreaking havoc

Inepes was a Captain in Phar's elite Jackal Squadron. Before death he was a poster boy for the city's military recruitment with images of him dashing across the plains chasing off the greenskin hordes. Abundant with flowing blond locks such a rarity amongst the local population, he was a near mythical hero, worshipped by the young recruits as they found their feet in the Phar's army. Colloquially he was known as the Golden Wind.
In death, he picked up where he left off and continues to be a talisman for the Mahrak.
Star. Leader. Hero.

Takhra was a relatively new recruit into Phar's army when Nagash's ritual hit. As a youngster he'd dream of joining the Jackal Squadron despite his parents objections. Many hours were lost to daydreaming about roaming the plains following The Golden Wind.
In death, that dream took over his consciousness and drew him to the Ouroboros and to follow in the shadow of Cpt. Inepes
