Barney Fife, starting Blitzer and an original member of the Sheriffs roster.

His career got off to a strong start, inflicting multiple casualties and pulling a few crucial pass completions in the meantime. Unfortunately though, he was hit with a niggling injury in his first sprint of games. This eventually ran it course on May 2nd, 2020, when Barney's collarbone was smashed, permanently damaging his strenght as a blocker.

Barney's sticking it out though, staying on the field thanks to the encouragement of his teammates. He's normally seen on the line with his teammate, Aunt Bee, who is strategically placed as a counterweight for Barney's current vulnerabilities.

Will Barney fight his way back into a long, fruitful career, or be forced into retirement by his multitude of injuries? We'll find out soon enough.
