Lestat was born the seventh son of a poor noble family. As a mortal, Lestat was a stand out Blood Bowl player at the University of Altdorf. It was commonly thought that he would go on to play for the Reikland Reavers when a spot opened up. That changed in an exhibition game with the Black Sabbeths. The Altdorf Crimson Tide were up 2-1 with only a few minutes left on the clock. Lestat was driving, dancing along the sideline when and about to put the Tide up by an insurmountable 2 point lead. Out of nowhere he was tackled by Magnus, standout blitzer for the Sabbeths. As Lestat fell Magnus bit him. The Sabbeths left Lestat for dead, but a wandering apothecary managed to keep him alive. Lestat was turned. Not knowing what to do with his life, and his dreams of playing for the Reavers crushed, he linked up with newly formed vampire team under Coach John Carpenter in the Nurgle Amorical Football League.

Finn is a human from the Land of Ooo. He was an extraordinarily eligible bachelor there, as near everyone is some kind of princess. Heartbreak from failed relationships with Fire Princess and Bubblegum, along with the relentless advances of Lumpy Space Princess, drove him to follow his friend Marceline to the New World. Her band broke up shortly after their arrival on the continent. Broke, with no way home, the pair searched the periodicals for new work. Finn was sold when Marceline showed him a want ad reading “ADVENTURE TIME: Vampires needed for new Blood Bowl Team. Humans also wanted, no experience required. Inquire with J. Carpenter @ the Pork Chop Express Tavern.”
An octogenarian sadist butler. He’s here for a bit of the old ultra-violence. For what it’s worth, he’s also a monarchist.
He’s not really a thrall in the normal sense of the word. Prior to joint the team he didn’t even believe in Vampires, let alone hang out with them. When he applied he thought that his years of mercenary work in the deserts and among the barbarian tribes qualified him for the job. Turns out it wasn’t, it was the tattoo one tribe gave him showing his blood type that made him uniquely qualified. Two days experience as a blood bag was sufficient for Carpenter and his merry band of vamps.
