El Chapulin was the inspiration for "Norm" from Cheers. But they didn't have room in the story line for the Professional Midget Wrestling angle... so they just took his personality and not his vocation.

Hired originally as a line woman and was instrumental as a cheerleader on the pitch in overtime of the greatest game in the history of the team (and possibly all of Blood Bowl). She came back after Lupita's injury forced retirement... Papi Chulo convinced her (or paid her... not quite clear on that, but we're not concerned)

Huitzi wore that shirt to the Price Is Right for 3 years straight... finally got called... and fell down the steps to the front, knocking himself out cold. Footage was cut and never aired. Fake story. Completely made up.

Well... he really let himself go after the championship. Hopefully he wiped the chocolate off his belly before putting on that white shirt.

But the playoff run was a wake-up call for him. He referred to himself as the Diamond in the Rough during the regular season, but the Unholy Saints, Derpity Derp, and St. Ogg Millers were able to nullify his effect on the games overall. He still thinks he's elite, though.
