Awambawamb, do you know that version of PO was already used back in Blood Bowl version 3?! 1990s. I don't think it was particularly frequently used though. You would often be putting your player down to get a stun. Still effective.
Also as I recall dirty player was +2 in those days, and normal fouling +1. So more worrying to put your players down. |

Yeah, that was the original 3rd ed. piling on.
Worked fine. Nice for big guys. Was a bit much when combined with the old Fang which was +2 to injury. +4/+2 from a Chaos Warrior was pretty brutal!
However, when GW changed their skill rules so modifiers were added -after- seeing the dice roll, that version of Piling on really had to be changed. |
